Hey guys, I just started on AC today, upto chapter 8 and I've been wondering for a while now but, when will the damn Chuuni thing stop!? Like does it stop before 100 chapters? Or sooner? Cause my patience suffers! Ahem anyway, that's more or less my question. Thanks!
You should drop it then, the chuuni will never stop, it only gets stronger. And lots of (important and good) fillers too.
It doesn't stop, but there's a legit reason as to why he does calls himself king and stuff. AC is a great novel, but the author makes more filler than any old shounen anime and milks more word than TMW author.
The eighth grade syndrome, as they call it, is one of the most important aspects of this story. If you can't take it, this book isn't for you.
The series only gets weaker as more chapters are released. Increasing filler, and the apparant fact that the author doesn't plan more than fivechapters ahead. If you don't like the first 50~ chapters, then you will never like it.
The chunni isn't actually that bad in this one. Usually People that are chunni do it cause they suck and are delusion and never accept that they suck. The MC is different though he knows and tries to improve. if you want to know more I would suggest reading it.
The chunni actually does tone down a bit, but mostly because he spends less time talking as more characters are introduced. That said, while he is chunni, a lot of his chunni predictions end up at least 50% correct. Which is part of the comedy when he leaves people dumbfounded. If you are on chapter 8, it is too early to see how it goes. The chunni afterwards is different then the ones you see in early chapters. At least get past the entrance exam arc to see if you'll like it.
The chunni stuff does persist, but it is greatly toned down later. It's only sin is being a Qidian novel.
It's great, the chuuni is great, the humour is great, and the general style of the novel is great. Read and enjoy~ .. Or don't, idc?
The chuuni is the best part of him tho jk. (I'm sorta serious) you'll learn to tolerate it as you read but the fillers are funny. (sort of)
the sad part of CN web novels is there is going to filler and flowery sentences to extend the context of the novel just a fact we have accept since those novels are usually the ones chosen. Only upside is it is a daily novel so we at least of the option of reading once a week.
I am in 500 chapters and I can clearly say that everything revolves in few characters and lots of fillers from 400+, every chapter is so long and you can understand the plot easily but it was instead delivered a little exaggerated in explaining.
