Just started reading the novel specified above and it's amazing, it's a novel unlike any other and just want to get more people reading it because it's that good. A guaranteed laugh!

Gets better chap 6-7 on. No more depressing stuff and it get super funny, don't think this much needs spoiler alert??
wahaha, this story is so refreshing for me even though the cultivation is progressing slowly, he just cultivate to mortal cultivation realm 1 on chapter 20.
The first four chapters are very dark but there are authors notes explaining that it is only for the set up befor the main narrative switches to lighthearted comedy.

I guess i'm odd i have the complete opposite opinion on this, i found it painful to read, the MC is by far, by FAR the worst character i've ever seen, i don't just mean MC's, i mean any character i've ever seen, makes joffrey look good.
I read up until the teacher, then I rage quit. If the author actually wants me to believe any of the shit in that arc, I think he's an idiot.
