As the title suggests I'm looking for stories that have equal action and drama where characters act not only based on their logic but also their emotion. Every choice and mistake they made also have the dire consequence that is irreversible. Those so called immortals and cultivators also have emotions, they have relationships, they have a dream to achieve and they also make mistakes. They are human. The story surely should have action scenes from time to time but it should not purely be about power gathering and cultivation. The story should also have characters interaction where most characters in the setting have personalities and background stories of their own and not merely passerby who would be forgotten in few chapters. Stories that sometimes also throw something romantic lines like these. Many people search for power and Immortality but for some these things are not what they seek. longing for love and live relative happly with their significant other is enough for them, love and relation with other drives them to such great length they are willing to fight and bet their life for. Or commit suicide to accompany their loved ones to enter soul streams. Okay, I also want the part of badass actions in the story where characters clashing their weapon, galloping the horse on battlefield, throwing fireball and conjuring lightning from their fingertips. It's funny that stories wuxia Condor Heroes Trilogy and early xianxia like Zhu Xian were the mainstream trend however people starts get bored of it. In mid 2008 the trend shifted to selfish cultivator aim for immortality like RMJI where they get fast boost in cultivation by eating pills like candy then battle against each other, eating more pills and repeats. Then trend change again where people prefer the story insert comedy and parody like Cultivation Chat Group. But nowadays I'm fed up with CN selfish cultivator story and parody . I just want to read thrilling action story while also want to read happiness and sadness drama like Zhu Xian. I accept fantasy, wuxia, xianxia and xuanhuan but I don't accept something shojou Quick Transmigration and Lit-RPG, no offense to the fans but those two are not my cup of tea. Thanks.
