I read some stuff about this novel, and it seems like the regression magic that was used needed two people to preform it, and the casters will lose their memories. Since the father is having nightmares, which is most likely his erased memories there is a high chance he's one of the casters. Also I think the blond guy is the ML, not the black haired one.
