I ran out of things to read (actually the novels I'm reading are just very slow to update) and I would like you to please recommend me a good adventure novel. No harems and please no repetitive face-slapping (it gets old if they do it every 10 chapters). Please don't recommend something like True Martial World or anything written by Er Gen and I eat tomatoes where they adventured so hard, they killed all gods and they themselves became god of the universe. I tried reading them and it made me feel exhausted as fuck. I'd also appreciate it if the MC is not OP at the start. It's boring if he could just flick his opponents with his fingers every goddamn time. A good weak to strong story is very welcome. You can peek at my reading list to see what I'm currently reading now. Thank you in advance.
You know, this sounds interesting but I'm looking at the tags and there's Harem written there. I'm kinda allergic to harem. I like my MC loyal to one person. Thank you for the suggestion though!
Meh the harem and romance is more like a joke (in good way) than anything else. And it's like 5 chapters per 200+ chapters.
History’s Strongest Senior Brother - I've recently started this and I'm hooked. The main character is kinda op but his main strength still comes from his abundant knowledge and ingenuity. His battles most of the time involves going against multiple people who are way stronger than him, and him defeating them through trapping them or outsmarting them. Oh and maybe this too. Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? But if you want pure and simple adventuring, I recommend Kino no Tabi. I got reminded of it because the person below me recommended Allison and Lillia. lol (I think there was another book by that author, can't quite remember the name.) Edit: Oh yea, Lillia and Treize...or something. Edit #2: Oh, and I just found out there is a Meg and Saron too? Well, fuck it. The book series is called 'Tale of a Single Continent' apparently.
Thank you for the suggestion but both History's Strongest Senior Brother and Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? are in my reading list. Quite excited for the anime for Kumo. :> I've also tried Kino no Tabi. I haven't tried Allison to Lilia and Lilia and Trieze.
I said make my abilities average... I think it’s an adventure... well it’s a funny read, light - hearted, a lot of “airhead” moments...
WTF ?! You didn't try "Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear" ?! Sure she is kinda op from the beginning, sure 3/4 of the work is slice of life where MC often recreates modern food but DAMN IT'S GOOD !
Gonna copy-paste some yuri: Here is some original yuri stories (caution i spoil quite a bit) on RR: Binary Soul (completed): In a city where anything happens like the attack of a reviving necromancer or giant rats or even living piece of furnitures lives our powerful MC magician girl that often get into troubles like scratching too much behind the ears of the beatsmen or beating some drunkards that touched her ass or breasts. Luckily with some jail or some fine she is always released as she is a good girl. One day, a star (looks like) crash into the forest. She will find in there a lover that is in fact herself but in another world (selfcest). Lily Ex-machina (completed): A girl machinist that is paragon (a classification of power user = max) with her power of control (of stuff she touches but considered quite useless), dreams to become popular with her work. One day she decides with her childhoodfriend and the group of mercenaries/adventurers she works with to go to the last lvl discovered in the labyrinth/dungeon that the city manages to find new metals to become popular with the discovery. But in there she will wakes up something terrific. And also discover a robot that will becomes her lover. For BS, the biggest positive point of it is the fact that nothing bad happens (at least to the MC and lover) so go read it with a happy heart and expect some comedy. For LEM, there is quite a lot of drama + tragic ending. After that, join us on Yuri Garden (NUF) to talk about it.
