Timeline restrictions: Characters are only inside the Tavern in evenings after reporting tasks at the Report Counter.

Come rest your weary corpse at the Adventurer's Guild canteen, also known as a tavern among the easily impressionable. Get a drink, and sit down with your fellows for a chat, or just drink it and bugger off to sleep. Your choice!

 

Sitting down at a table together, Ruby and I make some small talk as we enjoy a meal and watch the sunset through the windows of the tavern.

 

Omnia transforms to his human form and enters the Tavern.
He finds a place with great view and takes a seat.
Looking through the menu he orders some food, but no alochol because the owner said he is way too young ... well he is not even a year old.

 

"My my, what are little kids doing in a place like this?", Adam tempts the innocent looking kid with a lollipop and asks from behind.

 

"Hmpf even if I'm still young it's still enough to beat you" Omnia said, but still grabbed the lollipop and stuffed it in his mouth. "Anyway, who are you?" asked Omnia.

 

"Adam, but you can just call me uncle. I'm a sharpshooter." Pulling out one of his revolvers, Adam twirls it around his fingers, trying to act like an expert. "What's your name? Where are your parents?".

 

"Okay Gramps, I'm Omnia Nihil. You can just call me Omnia" Omnia said while rolling his eyes after watching Adam twirl his Revolver.
"I don't have any parents, at least there were non when I was born."

 

Critical Damage. Adam almost faints from the mental pain of being called 'Gramps'. Pointing a finger at himself, he says, " I'm only 24 days old, you know. And you had the audacity of calling me gramps?". Adam was at the edge of his seat, spit flying around as he defended his precious childhood.

 

"Well I'm not even one year old and you do talk like a neighborhood gramps" Omnia said while going out of the spits way.

"Anyways. Since you are a sharpshooter you must also be an adventurer. Did you find something interesting while doing tasks today?" Asked Omnia while ignoring the still rambling Adam.

 

"Other than finding a shiny but useless rock, throwing it away and accidentally hitting a dire beast, nothing interesting happened. But I did hear some talk about bandits being abnormally active in these parts as of late. I might go on to hunt them tomorrow. What about you?". Adam, clearly sad on being ignored, grumbled.

 

"Yeah there are indeed a lot of bandits. I already cleaned up two bandit nests today. Let me tell you this in advance ... burned bandits don't smell good." Omnia said while remembering the stench.

 

"Anything burned doesn't smell good. Of course, it's another thing if you burn them at the right temperature with the right ingredients". Making a weird smile, Adam tried to slowly tempt tempt this innocent kid with extremely weird things.

 

"OHH your right I think I'm gonna take some spices with me. Any idea what's good with meat?" Omnia asks Adam

 

"Hmmm, lets see. Chilies, cinnamon, basil, cumin, sage, rosemary, so on and forth. If the meat is cooked perfectly, any number of spices will suit it, but above all else, it depends on your own preferences. Okay kiddo, I'm gonna head upstairs for some shut-eye, see ya tomorrow." Adam replies while paying at the bar and going upstairs.

 

"Bye Gramps." said Omnia while ordering another steak.

 

Entering the tavern, Ylae immediately headed towards the barkeep, ordering her sustenance for the day.
"Grilled meat with mushroom, and some cheap alcohol~"
Hopefully, she will get her food soon enough.

 

Omnia observes the new person and can't believe what he hears. "How can you order grilled meat, but than ruin it with mushrooms?" said Omnia.

 

"What do you mean by ruining? Clearly, it goes well together! Plus-- mushrooms are tasty, especially the penny bun~"
The main issue is that there are many types of penny bun. Therefore, which one did she like? For sure, she did not know for she could not distinguish one from another.
"Wait, no, morel is the best, definitively."

 

"Goes well together ... pffft. That's the same as if you would put pineapple on pizza. Just not good." said Omnia while laughing at her choice.
