For example, damaging Aeternus during your quests is a no. Same for burning Verdant Forest~

OOC: But you can make it so your character grows progressively right. Seems kind of bland if something like that were to happen. "Because I did this quest and got this random power up, I can beat you," I think a limited growth, like RNG, would make the story interesting, gain experience in what one encounters on the journey, not a power-up.

 

OOC: Well I used the quest to showcase my characters' abilities and teamwork. Also foreshadowing some plot points for the future usage.
But what you said is good, some people use RNG. Was it Razogul?

 

[OOC] Poeple don't usually have random power ups during quests tho. Some do have, some encounter situations where they suffer damages and some even fail.
As explained before, your story, your rules~ The quests and progress are up to your liking~

((Yep, you just need to write how you clear the quest, everything else is up to you.

It can either be a simple quest clear with no problems in it, or it can be something that makes your character grow, or a power up, or a way to meet some NPCs...

You're free to do pretty much anything you want essentially, we're pretty laid bck overall~))

 

OOC: The problem I have is related to Uriah's character, specifically in one of his skills. That skill being Break Down. Sure I have limited its utility because of its F- but I know its uses, it relies on sheer comprehension, intelligence, and conceptualization to use its power. But I still think it's something that can become OP because it's an analytical growth skill capable of becoming a weapon as well as its potential universal use... =_=" I guess it'll rely on time for growth. Then again this is kind of common sense.

OOC: I'd rather just use common sense with the RNG on possible random events, as well as the use of patience so Uriah can become enlightened about things thus gaining skills through Break Down.

OOC: Personally, I like the concept of devils "corrupting" so-called pure souls for no other purpose than they just want to. Perhaps that soul may be pious or zealous and a devil would want to shatter that black and white worldview.

It'd be even better if all the devil had to do was to give them something with no lies, no deception. Just a simple, absolute truth; and the pure ones would just inevitably find their own way to hell.

Honestly, I think Xiao Ji herself is too pure for some of my jokes.

Or maybe I'm just too twisted.

Sometimes I just play innocent when a particular joke bothers me though... It's easier to deal with it if the other party thinks you didn't get it...

That's why I hire lazy people for the generally more tedious stuff (accounting, inventory, admin, etc.)

Granted they'd have to be lazy BUT smart.
