Thinking of the goals he set to achieve here, in foreign land, Bob knew that the number one thing he needed was money. With money, he could just post a request and there would be enough able hands to go and do it. How to get the money, was the question. His skill set, though, was anything but disastrous. Because of that there were not many things he could do.

"Should I really make a deal with that thing?" Bob pondered.

Description: The little star of the upcoming high society banquet at Baron Kuin's mansion is missing! The daughter of the Baron family, and her esteemed guest have last been seen entering the Lakeside forest before dusk. While a search party has been sent, they have yet to find the two children. This is an urgent request for able trackers, and just generally all able hands to scour the forest for the missing heirs. The representative of the Baroness is wizard Askel the Red. Meet up with him and aid the fief before word about the missing guest spreads.

Oh? You're joining them in the quest? I'm assuming you talked to them about it and they're fine with it?

Well, if both @Nahrenne and @Haitaka have no problem with it, it's granted~

 

She hadn't been particularly interested in the quest before, but the new update sounded positively fascinating. Plus it paid money to do research, which was quite hard to find outside of the Damned Guild. She went up to the desk. "I'd like to take this request. I think it will fit quite well with my particular fields of expertise. Looking at the report you retrieved quite a bit of material revolving around the creation and design of the plague. I will need access to those if you want me to be able to address it in a timely manner. That and one of the infected cats as well."

 

Oh you will? *beaming eyes*

*coughs* I mean, of course, I'd love to grant it, you're free to look through the material, but I'll have to ask you to not bring them outside the guild unless strictly necessary, as this is now guild's property and we cannot be sure they'll come back if they're once outside... I'm sure you understand why.

Outside of that though, you'll have full freedom to do as you please with them, even if you need to get rid of them~

As for a cat... Wait a bit. *picks up her flute and starts playing a sad tune... After about 2 minutes, a small white cat meekly comes in.*

*picks the cat up carefully as if she was holding a small baby* Please be careful with Sera, alright? She's been feeling terrible these days... Come on now little girl, auntie Selvia will take care of you, okay~? *cat gives a meek nya before being handed over*

"Sure, I'll just a room or lab put aside in the guild for my research, then. And I would never hurt the cat." Selvia begins to talk in a cutesy voice. "I wouldn't want to hurt my wonderful little research subject before I've figured everything out from them," as she pets the cat on the head.

Looking at the quest board in her [Illusory Form], Shadie wanted to be out of the town so she could learn more about the world. Seeing that many of the quests had been taken already, her 'eyes' glanced upon one particular quest that seemed interesting.
"Missing ships? *giggles* I bet there are a lot of negative emotions there at the moment~"

Pulling the quest off the board and taking it to a receptionist desk, she put on her kindest smile and said:
"I'd like to have a go at this quest~!"

@AliceShiki the ship quest, do they vanish from the port or on the sea around the port?

 

The disappearing ships were all anchored to the port~

Shadie saw a walking gourd and immediately used her [Telekinesis] to pull them towards her location.
"This is my partner for this quest~ It wasn't here before cos it was finishing a preceding one~ Right, Walking Gourd Thing~?"
She turned her head to look at her 'companion', a sweet angelic smile plastered on her face.
