"Hello Hikari, we came back~" said Cinere who just restrained himself to pat her, not knowing yet "which" Hikari it was, the one that came into the Tavern recently or the usual one ? He didn't know while Liya only politely bowed with a smile.

Sighing of relief, Liya seemed to be happy for a simple reason, for once, they won’t have to make some weird and annoying detour to finish the quests, all he needed to one was likely to go forward Delta Town by crossing the Sand Desert.
It was perfect this way, most of the monsters in the Sand Desert are quite common, so it should be easy to finish them.

“What are you so happy for ?” While they were entering in the Sand Desert to go toward Delta Town, Cinere asked a stupid question from Liya’s eyes, why wouldn’t he be joyous ?
“Of course, we don’t need to go all around to finish the quests… well, it’s still a shame that you only took subjugation quests…” he only sneered at his comment, who was the one who said to him to make Living Corpses ? In the end, both of them forgot about the idea of selling them, maybe they should, but at least, not now… or Liya decided to be lenient on Cinere because he seemed to be more and more tired as time pass.

“That’s perfect, look, there is a group of lizardmen~” Probably around 2 miles far away, there were tall humanoid shades, so what else than lizardmen ? So obviously, they approached after turning invisible thank to Illusion Magic, eight monsters to kill, it should be quite easy.
Unfortunately, they had keen senses so when they turned around toward them, they groaned at the void, there was nobody yet there was someone, at least, not for long. At this moment, he felt his throat getting stabbed mercilessly, no once, no twice, but thrice. Meanwhile, from the other side, someone crushed a lizardman’s neck, killing him on the instant…

Heh, did they think they were fast enough to react ? Of course not, the sand below their feet froze as one got cut in two by an ice spike coming from under him. Then Liya without hesitation, using brute force melted with stealth, he killed another once while Cinere caught one at his throat and… waited, until he freezes and dies.
In a just an instant, 5 on 8 died, and except the pale man, they didn’t seem that weak… one of them went after Liya while the two others foolishly attacked Cinere, how stupid.
Their thrust with their spears were useless as Cinere only teleported behind them, creating 2 ice knifes, he just drilled them into their head without even watching, he didn’t need to.
All he needed was to wait for Liya to finish his job… which was quite fast, since unlike Cinere, he didn’t even let his enemy attack, he just wrecked his neck without any mercy.

“Unexpectedly fast.” It was Cinere’s comment about this fight, even if there wasn’t everyone, he felt like it was a bit too fast. Right, it was time to talk about why Nally and Ael aren’t there.. Nally didn’t want to come because…

“I am exhausted… I felt like I am dead… a third time…” Nally muttered as she looked at the pair of brother who seemed to be quite close… because of this, she began imagining them alone… in a bathroom while Cinere is too lazy to get up, Liya decided to join him… but well, who knows what a cold and chilling Cinere could do when the water is so comfortable…
A merciless and a savage man who is quite active when excited while the other one like to enjoy every seconds that pass, the big one will be the passive one while the small one will be the active one… how…

“Ahuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu~” Her laugh seemed sinister and at this moment, she also hugged Ael, she wouldn’t release him, Cinere and Liya could easily take him back after all, nevertheless, if some people knew how she threatened… she said mercilessly with a vicious and strangely, that if they dare to take him, she will tell them what she has in her mind.
Liya didn’t know but still felt scared after seeing Cinere’s face who inexplicably paled after hearing her, he even soundly gulped.
How could he try to search what was the truth ? Something that even make pale his merciless brother who has saw a lot of things that will even make the most ruthless slaughterer backs away ?
What he didn’t know.
It was that Cinere was faking, according to his plan… why ? Because he doesn’t want Liya to ask him what Nally was thinking, and obviously, how she began to like that “forbidden’ pleasure.

Nevertheless, after they left for an unknown reason… Nally was locked into an ice coffin and screaming infamy at Cinere, or was trying to scream...

Anyway, after thinking about this poor and terrifying event, Cinere only sighed and accelerated his search, wanting to find at least 7 Lizardmen soon… but instead, they found a two dozen of black rhinos… well, that’s good.

“Exhausting.” Wishing to end it quickly, Cinere created a dozens of dozens of dozens of ice swords, why not exaggerate attacks when someone has way too much mana ? Why not make too much of everything ?
To be honest, there is around one hundred of swords currently, 5 for each monsters which is way sufficient, at each breath, a rhino died quickly and sadly, not even having the possibility of seeing his invisible aggressors, how depressing.
After a few minutes, they all died as Cinere yawned, letting Liya pick up the corpses behind him as he decided to continue searching for the lizardmen…

“…weird, he is quite hasty for once…” said Liya to himself as he began to run behind him, following closely, since it seemed like his brother wanted to finish this quickly, instead he decided to go further ahead.
Seeing Liya slowly running faster than him, he only sighed and smiled bitterly as he felt a terrible headache and exhaustion, well, all he has to do is to mutate his body or force himself, it should work quite easily after all…

After a few dozens of minutes, they have found around 12 Lizardmen who were lurking and seemingly prepared to chase at something, it was weird, they seemed to be careful, it looks like they are planning to hunt something dangerous…
Hmm, considering the monsters that there is in the Sandy Desert, there was simply three possibilities, Rhinos, nevertheless, they wouldn’t be this careful, Lizardmen of course, everyone has rivals after all and… Wyverns, that could be quite convenient if it was the latter.
Ah, there is also Giant Worms but well… they can’t even ambush them since they are travelling under the sand, they won’t be able to track them… so why being suicidal and chase after these things who can’t even be tracked ?

Anyway… instead of killing them, they followed… quietly and eager to see what will happen soon… a dozen of minutes ago, they could see 2 Wyverns, who just became ambushed by those ferocious, what they didn’t expect was obviously more than twenty Living Corpses who suddenly ambushed to ambush all of them. Among them 5 were somehow Rank C and 8 Rank D, and they mustn’t forget that there is two people who are far more dangerous than those ones.

“Kill !” Cinere shouted with a wide smile as he felt a familiar feeling, pleasure to kill. Afterwards, he joined this one-sided battle, to make it even more one-sided… ruthless. As long as the enemy has blood, he will feel at ease when his black seax, Mishap, is cutting through the flesh, he is always avoiding the bones, because they will just slow down his attacks, it’s always when he is using Mishap that he avoids attacking the bones, because he wants to avoid damaging it against the bones, swords aren’t really that resistant.
Especially when it isn’t a sword but a dagger.

Anyway, he is not even sure of what materials is made, so what if his weapon is actually frail ? What if it breaks ? So he won’t use it against enemies who have scale or at least, he won’t aim at the scales only the flesh and skin.
Advancing while already half of the Lizard died under the living corpse’s attacks, the wyvern began screaming aloud… piercing another lizard’s throat and freezing another one by just entwining one of his arms around a lizard’s neck. While Liya did the same, three hit and three kills, each time using the Bo Staff to crush their head, he was faster than Cinere after all… the lizards didn’t get enough time to counter attack, after all, they were attacked by both side, twenty “monsters” from one side, and two wyverns on the other, they concentrated on the wyverns because they weren’t many and probably more dangerous… so they could kill one of them.

In the end, all that’s left was an unscathed group of more than twenty person and an injured wyvern, who was still screaming for an unknown reason, Cinere and Liya just waited in front of him… while waiting, Cinere freed the souls in the living corpses and put new ones into these.

Now is an important question, why waiting ?
Yes, why doing something so pointless ?

“Because the wyvern is calling for help.” Said Cinere on a joyful tone as he looked at Liya with an ectasic smile, he licked his lips in happiness as he saw five wyverns coming from afar.
It was just as he planned, how could he not be happy at this moment ?

“Brother, it looks like you are going to have fun.” Sighed Liya as he wonderd why his brother was so hurried to finish those qu-
He suddenly remembered what there is in Delta Town… right, after the wyverns, there is still a quest, which is in Delta Town, yes but that isn’t important at all. When did his brother has gone mad ?

In delta town, why ?
Because of Elpide’s Temple, because he has an unjustified grudge with him.
Because he is a hypocritical individual who blamed others.

Liya could only sighs as he finally realized why he was hurrying… why… all those fights were shorts and fast, why did he waste even more mana as usual… he could only sighs.
Why ? In the end, he won’t be able to stop him, after all, he has never been able to stop him. All he can do is to support him… if he tries to make the situation better, he will just make it worse and hurt himself by the way.
How he is supposed to help in those kind of circumstances ?

Let’s just go back to the main point, aside from the now useless wyvern who can’t even fight, there is five of them, ready to fight to death, unfortunately, as everyone who crossed his unruly path, they crossed with the wrong person.
And they won’t be able to get away.

Moving smoothly, Cinere jumped and caught a wyvern neck and plunged his dagger into one of its eyes, then the second, he didn’t wait for it to react and turned invisible as he teleported a bit everywhere, trying to avoid the other wyvern’s gazes and senses, they turned and saw… one of them died, just like this.
It just happened too quickly.

Nevertheless, it wasn’t the end, Liya was also there, like Cinere, he jumped, but he didn’t do the same thing, his teeth sunk into a wyvern’s neck, absorbing its blood.
The wyvern shook his head, trying to get rid of him, yet it didn’t work, it continued until the wyvern die, Liya didn’t release him, he wouldn’t. He couldn’t break or cut his neck, but he could suck his blood until he has nothing left.

During this time, Cinere created an ice wall, blocking the three others wyverns, who were ready to attack, who wanted to rip their guts, furious by their comrade’s deaths, because of this, they forgot that the one who called them was there, they forgot him who was already on the verge of death… he would die soon because of blood loss.
Meanwhile, the livings corpses were preparing an ambush on one wyvern, since they had been distracted, it will be quite easy.
Separated by the ice walls, they couldn’t see each other, so they were going to take off… but they didn’t except that one of them wouldn’t do that, however, it wasn’t the most important now.
They were far too mad to realize that it was a trap, a vicious and simple trap, they were the last one.


Both of them arrived and attacked Cinere, Liya’s face twisted as he saw that, and wildly attacked one, only to be hit by one of their tail… which was caught by him.

“AHHHHHH !!” Holding forcefully the tail, he lifted the wyvern and threw it against the sand, knocking him off for some seconds… while the other wyvern was only attacking Cinere, he aimed at his belly, he tried to bite, but didn’t succeed… and saw above his head, an ice spike of two meters, he knew that he couldn’t avoid, but it was the end.
His throat was pierced by an ice spike… blocked in the sand, he struggled… but couldn’t move and only died… Liya, after throwing the last wyvern, he took his Bo Staff and crushed one of his eye, then the other… when he was done with both, his staff was now in his both hand, and he vertically crushed his head…

It was risky, because he could have damaged his staff.
At least, they ended this fight quite easily.

Now, they only needed to head toward Delta Town.

“That was exhausting…”


Arriving at Delta Town, even if it was crowded, this town still seemed to be beautiful, as Cinere somehow felt less stressed by coming here, he sighed and said with a peaceful smile.
“Let’s just go to a restaurant.” Hearing that, Liya couldn’t help but narrow his eyes, why did he seem to be more relaxed despite being near to there ?
That was something he couldn’t understand at this moment, and he won’t until a long time.
Walking serenely in the streets, searching for a restaurant, nothing could bother them, unfortunately at a moment, Liya lost sight of Cinere, this crowd was bothering and now he lost him…

“Cinere !” he called to him loudly, sometimes people turned and looked at him but they didn’t care more than that and just continued to walk, ignoring the shouting Liya, despite calling him loudly and succeeding in disturbing the crowd, he couldn’t find him, so he gave up and decided to wait for him next to the sea.
The air was fresh and relaxing, he sat on the edge of the sea at the port, next to a ship, Liya lied down and sighed, he won’t be able to find him, so he will wait for him to come back, his brother probably disappeared on purpose, what is he doing ? Nevertheless, he knew that even if he wanted to do anything, it was too late now.

So he will rest until he comes back, now that he thought about it, the first time he came on the Main Continent, it was from here, by descending a ship, it hasn’t been a long time since he came, nevertheless, it seemed like it was forever, his master became his brother, he became somehow “sweet” and… childish despite being 29.
Both of them changed, before they only talked to each other and her, nobody else, there was just nobody else than them… but now it’s different, both, both of them will talk to other people willingly contrary to the past, that was what was new and different.

After a while he sighed, that was useless to think about it.
Suddenly, he heard people shouting, running away from the sea, he rubbed his forehead and heard a troubling word : “Kraken”
It looked like he couldn’t even take a rest, nevertheless… someone was running toward the sea, and it was obviously his brother, who jumped froze the water and began to approach the Kraken, no it was actually a Lesser Kraken.
Assisting at this, Liya saw his brother walking on the sea, gradually freezing as his steps were approaching closer and closer to the Lesser Kraken who was at 100 feet from the shore, holding a ship between its tentacle, he wondered why his brother was doing this, why would he attack a Lesser Kraken ? Did he have an urge to fight again ? Or wanted to make better Living Corpse ? Whatever, it wasn’t important.

After a while, the Lesser Kraken stopped trying to sink the ship and looked at the approaching enemy, it could feel the cold spreading in the water, the first thing it did was to try crushing him with one of its eight tentacles.
As expected, it didn’t work as the Lesser Kraken only crushed ice who didn’t break despite the strong hit it gave to the ice, it didn’t not even crack, then suddenly, it was caught by Cinere who was freezing the tentacle. Seeing that this one couldn’t move anymore, the Kraken attacked with two tentacle at the same time , one from the right, one from the left.
Teleporting silently, Cinere was now under the ice, below the two tentacles who brushed each other, it planned to hit the head and the legs at the same time nevertheless Cinere disappeared before it happens.

The Lesser Kraken couldn’t help but feel perturbed, there was someone, yet there is nobody, nevertheless, behind him, a sudden rod struck it violently, making it fall forward, while he was falling, ice spiked appeared and cut three of its tentacles, just like this, half of his arms were destroyed, nevertheless, he was still dizzy from the sudden attacks and abruptly felt, two thin teeth sinking in his back, draining his veins.
Wanting to remove this thing sucking his blood, it madly used his four tentacles to wipe it off his back… but from the front, it forgot that there was a man walking on ice, that disappeared and came back just like he always was there when he wasn’t.

Obviously, he did something while he was trying to kill Liya who was draining the Lesser Kraken’s vitality, he simply made dozens of ice sword and threw all of them at the stunned monster, because of his stupidity, it didn’t expect to be attacked in such a fashion, so it will die, its head being pierced by too many swords to count, it couldn’t help but die pathetically.

Despite being on the surface of the sea, the corpse couldn’t dive deeper into the water because of the ice and an item box who can stock the entire corpse without even cutting it into piece, that is just perfect.

“Ah, brother, that’s perfect, now we finished all of our quests, isn’t it perfect ?” shamelessly said Cinere to Liya with a smile, obviously he knew that Liya didn’t know that the Lesser Kraken was for the quest they were doing since… he didn’t even have the knowledge about what missions they needed to do.
Realizing that his brother probably became a Rank C, he only sighed and stayed silent, why should he get into an argument…? At least, this is what he thought, nevertheless, his mouth moved even before his thought reached his brain.

“So ? My dear brother ? Could you care a bit more about my opinion ? Shouldn’t you at least tell me that we were going to kill a Lesser Kraken ?” his voice was disdainful and slightly irritated, it looked like that his annoyance just leaked out for once.
“Ahah, I actually planned to do it alone since I didn’t want to trouble you, you can’t blame me, in the first place, I wanted to eat in a restaurant next to the sea, but nevertheless, this bastard came.” Cinere’s voice seemed slightly awkward, it looked like he wasn’t lying.
Understanding those words, Liya ignored the surroundings gazes and just turned both of them invisible as he asked, trying to change the subject since his brother won’t even try to change how he is.

So he just followed him to a restaurant since it seemed like he already found one while they were separated.

A bit later, both of them were sat at a table, Cinere was happily eating a chocolate cake and drinking a mocaccino while his brother was trying to eat calmly his beef steak, that was currently hard for him because of all the questions he had in his head.

“Why did you leave ?” his voice was quiet yet seemed to be more than simply serious, it had a certain tone in it, one that was determined to know the truth he has been waiting for.
“Hm ? To write a letter and threaten someone to send me my chocolate.” Hearing Cinere’s nonchalant voice, Liya couldn’t help but feel relieved, that didn’t surprise him, his brother sent a letter to their hometown for the chocolate, nothing surprising, he can threaten many people for just chocolate after all...
This is why it didn’t bother him to know that there is Elpide’s temple here.

If only… if only he knew that Cinere’s quests with Jin and his companions were at Delta Town and they had a talk with a certain god, recently, Liya stopped looking at his hand, sincerely, he thought that it will be useless to try solving the problem now, was there any calamity which could save hundreds of people ?
No there wasn’t, it wasn’t worth it to trouble themselves and well, they were living quite well despite the curse, so why should they care about it ?
Anyway, since it seemed like there was nothing meaningful to say, Liya decided that just after this meal, they will just leave to eat peacefully.

While Liya was searching his brother, Cinere was at the post mall, talking to someone with a simple yet terrifying smile from a certain point of view.

“Sir, may I send a letter to Favilla Regem, living in Sevdos.” Hearing this voice, the clerk began to make research in his folders, searching first Sevdos, then Favilla Regem who was quite easily found, he looked at the prerequisites to send a letter to him and said after gulping in fear.
“Mister, we are sorry but this person do not authorize people to send him letters…” nevertheless, he expected to be hit or shouted but he only heard two words.
“Cinere Lorem.” Understanding it was a name, he looked at the folders and realized that there was a list of the people who were authorized to send letter to Favilla, and he was part of it.
Supposedly, there was no problems, so he took his letter and decided to post it, to send it there.

“Mister, it’s finished.” The clerk seemed to be calmer than earlier, hearing this, Cinere smiled and left as he thanked him on a grateful tone, then he just left, going toward the sea, hoping to find a restaurant or a Lesser Kraken, maybe both will be better.

After finishing to eat, Cinere and Liya left quietly the restaurant, forgetting to pay, they just calmly walked toward the teleporter to go back to Aeternus.

After talking with Hikari-san, Ieft toward the plains where my quests were.
I arrived quickly to..well, it's the great plain, not much else to see.
I arrive near where the moonlight flowers and healing plants are and carefully harvest 10 of each one, making sure that
There are enough behind to regrow into a nice and healthy herbal batch~
I then gathered 3 portions of moonlight water~
placing the items mentioned before in my item box, I looked around for slimes
half an hour later I found them, and by early afternoon, I was able to kill 20 slimes with my exploding peaches~

"Ehhh? Why does it seem like I'm for---I forgot mister sniffles at the guild~"
I looked around for something to give to him
But....
Hmmm
I decided to just ask mister sniffles, doubling back to the adventurers guild, I arrived at night-fall.

((Straight answer... Yes, it is, way too short, but passable.

It doesn't need much to get better though... Like, try showing how you searched and found the Healing Herbs and Moonlight Flower/Water, maybe put Lea-chan's reaction to the sight to add a bit of flavor.

As for the slimes, did you go after a large group if them? Or did you go after smaller groups? Did they react to being thrown an explosive peach? What was Lea-chan's reaction to exploding those cute jelly things? Was she fine with it? Did she feel strange about it?

If you try answering these questions, the report might give a better feeling of "an adventure", right now it feels a bit... Bland? There is barely anything that makes me say "This is Lea-chan doing the quest" instead of "This is a random adventurer" doing the quest.

I-I-I I forgot mister sniffles!

What am I going to do?!
I've gotta go fast enough that he doesin't realize I went on a quest without him!
*tu tu tu tu tu* < [Sounds of running, apparently]
"Ehhhh?! I got lost?! No~ Errrr!"
an hour later, she was pointed in the right direction.
"I can't seem to fin--"
She tripped on a rock and rolled down the hill she was standing on
"O-ouch~"
Instead of focusing on her surroundings, she used her peach magic to heal herself
"Gigigigi!"
"What?!"
*smack*
She accidentally knocked out a goblin that had sneaked up behind her, since she had swung her staff at full force.
"E-Eh? Did I do something bad?"
She looked at the unconscious goblin and spotted that it was carrying a moonlight flower in it's right hand
"Hmmm~ so If I just follow it's tracks.....It should lead me to the plants I'm looking for!"
she tied up the goblin with long grass stalks then followed the trail it took, which was easy since goblins don't usually bother with tracks.

Aha!
She had spotted an area with many of the herbs that she was looking for
"This~?! It's amazing! It's like a farm~"
She looked around for a dwelling but could not find one, so she gathered the moonlight flowers and healing plants on the edges of the herbal grove? field? She could see the end of it.....but...could not make an educated guess
"Hmmm? Isin't it strange that there's such a large field of herbs?"
She pondered as she finished gathering them all 10 healing plants and moonlight flowers
"I wonder what's in the center~"
As she traveled slowly toward it, the plantlife grew as tall as her, limiting her vision
when she reached a small pond of water
she bent down to take a sip but
"This is all moonlight water?!"
She was ecstatic, this quest was going so well
and when she looked up

She looked at the three portions of the moonlight water she gathered and the plants...
(O.O)
She inched back
and ran away, arriving at another area, spotting slimes and still feeling a bit...excited
"I-I'lll just....!"
She threw the peach exploding peach at the slimes
destroying them in groups of three
"So-so many!"
She kept on throwing them
eventually killing 20 slimes
"I-I need a warm meal"
and so she ran, throughout the night, reaching the adventurer's guild.
Though of course she took a break right outside the guild tavern, then she entered, still a bit tired.

"I came back, sorry, I couldn't accomplish, no even begin one of the quest. The one about slaying an Unicorn."

Walking in the receptionist desk with a broken and bloody arm supported by dirty cloth, I held over my report.

"Shut up."

Curtly replying, I sighed, all I wanted to do was to drink then take a rest, it will heal on itself. Anything heals with time, everything.

Spoiler: ”Report”

I walked aimlessly in the Great Plains, there is probably patrols of orcs a bit everywhere, each of them should have 1 leader and 4 regular orcs. It should be easy to kill them, when I thought this, I put the Basilisk on my shoulder, it still seemed to hate me as it stayed willingly silent, better this way.

Drawing out my bow, I readied myself and looked at the sky, seeing wild crows flying above yet toward me.
With my quiver at my left hips, and two arrows in my left hand while my bow was in my right hand, I shot an arrow which landed into a crow’s head, then I rolled on the side and quickly stood up as I shot another arrow which pierced a throat, killing another one, loosening the bow’s string then putting on my back, I drew out my sword on my left and throwing knives on my right. Seeing over ten wild crows coming this way from everywhere I sighed as the Basilisk fire breathed on three of them, obviously making more food while I sliced one who was at 6 feet from me, with my other hand, I threw one then another one knives, each of them landed into crows who were at 4 feet from me, the rest were at more than 12 feet away, giving us the time to take a deep breath.

“Let's continue, scare them with another fire breath.”

As long as two die, the quest can be considered as finished so why going so far, half of them already ran away because of the fire, then let's scare the rest while killing two.
Making another fire breath and scaring all of them away, I threw 4 knives, only two killed which is just perfect or limit, both words works.

I still need to kill :

• 10 Orcs.
• 3 Orcs Leaders.
• 1 Unicorn.
• 20 Slimes
• 10 Goblins

No need to gather those worthless crows, I already have more than a dozen of rabbits to eat, now let's hunt goblins, a bit of fire and it should be alright.

“After killing goblins.”

It didn't have the right to refuse after all.
I looked at the green and seemingly endless plains and sighed, there were shades far away, Orcs or Goblins ? I wonder.
Whatever, both will die anyw-

Hmm… slimes and goblins attacking each other, two birds with one hit. Hmm… around thirty slimes and a bit less than twenty goblins…
Some slimes seem to be resistant against physicals attacks… so they are at advantage… I wonder why they are fighting though… hmm, ah.

Preparing a spell using ¾ of my magic, I waited for them to get reunited in one point so I can kill dozen of them in one shoot…

“<Giant Fireball and Explosion>”

It should be around… 10 feets wide ?
At a moment, they noticed me but it was too late as the fireball descended on them and sweats appeared quickly on my body, my consciousness was on the verge of falling… it was too much.

Burning those filthy monsters, the ball of flames suddenly exploded, despite the fact that I was far away, I didn't expect the explosion to affect me and send me away…
Ashes and burnt grass covered my body… as I stood up, the first thing I did was to go search the bodies that I burnt…

Ahhh… where is the Basilisk…?

It's counting the corpses, let's see… so it makes 11 burnt dead goblins ? One more mission is accomplished… let's look at the slime cores then… I tried to walk but I immediately fell as words slipped out my mouth…

And my head pathetically crashed on the ground.

It laughed at me and I sighed, waiting that it begins counting and it did after a few minutes, I couldn't even move…

...perfect, let's sleep now.
I am too tired.
I hate this feeling… I shouldn't sleep in fact, too exposed.

Forcing my aching body to stand up, I sat and used the nearby left flames to make a fire camp with the wooden sticks that the Basilisk brought since it wanted to eat.
So, I peeled the skin of four rabbits while this fool eagerly stared at me, then I grilled the rabbits, it was too troublesome to remove the bones, it will do it on its own.

As it begins devouring its plate, I sighed and started to eat as well, if I wanted to get up sooner, I need the necessary energy.
We are just too exposed to get rest properly, but it's still enough to stay one or two hour since we have a good view on our surroundings so it's alright.

“...disgusting…”

Grilled rabbits are disgusting but I need to eat it forcefully if I want to live so will I. It looked at me then yawned, just before keeping on eating, it didn't care about my comment on this meat, well, why should it care after all ?

After around half an hour, I felt a bit better and stood up, I still had troubles at walking and not tripping but it's good enough this way, if met with danger, I can just overdo my body, not like it will be worse than it's already is.
Let's just… hmm… go into the forest to rest.

Putting my hood, I began walking, using a stick to support myself… no, it's already more than a bit annoying like this.
I drank a potion that my boss gave me, twenty minutes are needed and I will be healed completely as long as there isn't a damaged organ.

Of course, the process isn't peaceful, it is obviously painful, why would you be healed so easily after all.

“Arrrrrgggg…”

...pain has always been the thing I hated the most… fortunately, I can cope with it… or did my body became numb to it ?
That is a good question, it's true that pain changed contrary to when I first felt it, it became less intense, physically talking.

It is bothering, it can't understand this ? Isn't it even more incomprehensible ?

“Fool, why should I care about worthless things ? Stabbed is nothing, provoked by trashes is also nothing, and am I lonely ? I don't think so.”

I am not after all, this Basilisk is here, the boss is there, my colleagues are there, lonely means being alone and I am not alone, so I am not lonely.
It's quite simple.

[If you mean that archer that want to kill you when you become less like a puppet, then it's not what I mean !]

It seemed like it was disgusted with “Emotional Beheader” because of his hobby I suppose, killing people when their feelings are at their peak for fun… there is many people like this, so why ? I mean, in a certain way, he is appreciating me because of his hobby…

“Then what do you mean ?”

If I don't understand this time, I will just give up.understanding.

[Someone who sincerely appreciate you, not because they want you as a tool ! But because of your own self, because you are you ! For your simple presence, your personality, your words, tour your behavior and even If they dislike something, they won't be disgusted and just say what they think on a friendly tone !!]

Why would I need someone like this ?
What’s the use of it ? Will I live more easily ? Will I become stronger ? That is the question, nevertheless, about what I heard, it may going to make me weaker.
I sighed just walked away from this nonsense, and far away as the sky darkened, I could see Orcs, one patrols. I will just follow them for now and kill them when night fall, it will be easier.
The Basilisk that was put on my shoulder seemed to be pouting because I ignored her words, her supposed advice that was useless and too emotional.

When the night finally rose, I drew out my sword and killed the first orc by beheading its head, the four turned back and looked at me, I didn’t really care about that as I used a spell.
“<White Fire>” Who blinded them when they didn’t have the time to reply correctly, then my sword sinked diagonally into one’s throat, it couldn’t breathe as I removed it and ran away.
Yes, I am running and not continuing to hide, I will just hide while they were stunned.

After running a few dozens of feet, I looked from where I came and saw one thing, that there was two left and not three, because one became a statue, heh, unexpectedly, it will be easier than expected.

“I shoot an arrow, the leader approach and you use your eye.” I ordered as I readied my bow, then tend the string, pulling the arrow, I released it.
It flew and reached the center of the shoulder blades, that was… unexpected, at least, that’s what I thought as the last one approached me, unfortunately for him, he couldn’t move its leg because now there was only at it, immediately, my feet broke the stone, making this leader trip, despite the fact that it was supposed stronger than a regular orc, it was weak.

Anyway, time to continue my work properly.

Since it was the night, it was easy to spot the orcs that were wandering, look, why was I thinking about ? Another patrol.
Quickly, I approached by behind and silently killed the one that was on the back, good that they were silent, otherwise they might have noticed me.
Hmmm… easily, I took another one down… fortunately, the ones at the front still didn't turn back, for an unknown reason, they seemed to be tensed.

I looked at the Basilisk and nodded, this time, I assassinated the orc inefficiently by letting him scream while my pet spit fire at the other one, making him experience he'll on earth, the flames were unexpectedly really intense, I didn't thought it will be so effective.
Unexpectedly, the leader didn't panic and backed away as he was ready to defend, the Basilisk was too tired from now and won't be able to able to act.

Backstepping from the incoming sword, I pierced its throat nevertheless just in case, I retracted it quickly, wary of what it might do.
As I was receding, I noticed that despite having a pierced throat.

Its sword was slashing toward me, if I didn't step back. I may have lost an arm, seeing that it didn't work, it looked at me and died of blood loss.
Well, the leader is now dead, what's left is…

I still need to kill :

• 2 Orcs.
• 1 Orcs Leaders.
• 1 Unicorn.

There isn't that much left, well, the Basilisk looked silently at the corpse that was now lying down on the ground, in a puddle of filthy blood.
But then it closed its eyes, and let me carry her, I sighed and approached another light that was shining in the darkness, in others words, another patrol.
Hmmm… how can I do that ?
Alone it will be far harder ?

Hit and run ?
Yes, that’s for the best.
Four normal orcs and one leader.

Quickly, I assassinated one, when they turned back, I pushed myself onto one to get my sword into its torse around his heart, then when they were going to attack I run away, ignoring their screams of fury, the axes that they were throwing at me. I sighed and continued to run.
After a dozen of minutes, they were still chasing at me, but they were getting tired, during this time, considering that I am faster than them, I could put back the string on the bow, take out an arrow from my quiver and prepare it.
In a flash, I turned back and aimed at one of the Orc, the arrow flew and passed through its side, injuring it.
Clicking on my tongue, I launched another one who killed this orc… now there was still one orc and the leader…

Bothering.
After a sigh, my steps became faster and I continued to run away from them, nevertheless, I tried to make in fact that we are running in circles, they will feel even more annoyed by this and be probably more maddened by my acts.

“Haa...HAaa…… just how the… why do they have so much stamina…?”

Unfortunately, I was the one getting exhausted, not them… going around an open place, I turned back and looked at both of them who wildly approached, I threw two knives of one, as expected, he was mad, so he didn’t even notice them and died while…
...damn.

A greatsword, that’s the worst.
I couldn’t even sigh that I felt the pain of an iron going through my flesh once again, my arm protecting my side was almost cut in two, since the orc was holding this greatsword with one hand, with the other, he tightened his palm and formed a fist that directly landed in my guts, sending me far away as I felt the pain passing through my skin.

“...urg…”

Bearing the pain, I got up and backed away quickly as I drew out an arrow and avoided a slash and a fist going along to crush this poor body of mine… with the arrow, I pierced its throat and heabutted his nose, kicked his crotch… unexpectedly, it made him react and only push me away ?
How stupid.

It removed the arrow from its throat and looked at me with a furious look as it continued to advance toward me despite having trouble breathing, unlike what one might expect.
I backed away, again and again and again, until this orc falls on its own.

“Dead.”
[Are you alright…?]
“Of course not, I can’t move my right arm at all, I won’t be able to use my bow so hunting the Unicorn is impossible.”

I still need to kill :

• 1 Unicorn. (Impossible.)

“I will just go back, no need to force myself or even search for it since I will only fail.”

Ripping the cloth that were on the orcs, I used it to support my arm in shred, the bone was greatly damaged, the bone was almost cut in two, the greatsword entered into it, nevertheless it was stopped before it could cut or crush completely my bone.
Biting my lips, I restrained myself to scream uselessly, it hurt.
It hurt. It hurt…
Calm down, it will get better, yes… just bear with it, not like it is the first time… not like it will be the last… I won’t use any potions… I am in no danger…

Forcing my steps, I walked and went back to Aeternus.

((( I think next time I will try to write in third person... it seems easier to describe a fight or an event this way... anyway, been long. Some weeks or maybe a month ? I didn't really count. )))

While maintaining his poker face, Shadow read the report in silence. After a few seconds, he took out a small satchel filled with gold and then put it on to the counter.

OOC: Oh, true, true. Writing in 3rd person can make it easier to explain battle and fight scene. But it does sometimes lack the emotional feeling. Of course, not like you can't do that with that method. There's plenty of method. Come to think of it, I haven't write in 1st person for a loooooong time. Might do that one of these days. Hahaha~

[Day 1: Early Morning at Askian Hamlet VIllage]

------Preparation for the Quest

Lavri 'My name is Lavri one of Jin Vodka's follower and currently chosen as the leader for our group. Even though I'm young and look inexperienced. I'm not an ordinary Kobold as I have my memories from my past lives. Which ended me up in this position.
Right now, our group finally took our first quest and heading back to the Askian Hamlet. Since master Vodka always in preparation when quests. We decided to do against Goel who wishes to just start without planning. As we arrive at Jin's home, we find him preparing his clothes and books. He then notices and great us with a gentle smile.'

Jin "You guys are back so soon. I thought you would stay longer at the Tavern."
Presia "Sadly the Tavern is pretty quiet so we didn't stay long there~"
Jin "I see... I haven't really visited there since I came back."
Bernard "Master Vodka! We are doing our first quest as adventurers today!"
Jin "That's good to hear," he smiles and pats Bernard who waggles his tail in response. Jin then looks towards me. "So what's the quest about..?"
Lavri "All of the quests are a mission to slay specific monsters."
Jin "Alright, that's seemed fine to me. I could tell you more info---" Before he could continue, we felt a distortion in the atmosphere as a small crack appears behind him. It started to get bigger as it forms into a portal, revealing a familiar guy with spiky red hair.

Takairo "Oi! Why didn't you contact me!? Didn't you know your idiot teachers are rampaging cause you haven't arrived yet? Hurry up already! They are getting too irritating for me!"
Jin "Sorry for the delay, I'm already ready." He could only sigh as he seems to still want to talk to us for a bit longer. He weakly smiles towards us. "Lavri I leave everything and Presia please assist him."
Presia "Fufufu~ I'll do my utmost best while you are gone master Vodka~" She lightly lifts the hemp of her skirt and gently bowed while I only silently nodded.
Jin " Bernard don't do anything rash alright. Sanie please look to your brother."
Bernard "I'll do my best master Vodka!" He widely smiled as he gave a thumbs up. But it was not reassuring with how his personality.
Sanie "I'll try to do my best and watch for my brother" She looked quite not sure and not confident as she looks downward.
Bernard "Ahahaha~ It's alright! What could be worse that could happen!" Hearing Bernard's response made us extremely worried. I could only silently sigh and smacks his head as he yelp in response.

Jin "Pfft.... *cough cough* Anyway, Goel you are still new to this team. So I hope you won't make any troubles." He looks seriously at Goel as he still can't trust on Goel's abilities especially that Goel's a former bandit. He then glances at Flyx, "please reprimand Goel if anything happens Flyx."
Goel "Hey~ I would not do any troubles you know~" He shrugs his shoulder but the grin he showed seems a bit untrustworthy and felt worst than Bernard remark.
Flyx "Sigh... don't worry master Vodka. I'll do what I can do..."

Takairo "Oi! Would you hurry up and come already! Making a crack to a different dimension is not really safe! Taking too long might cause awful side-effects--- Ouch!!" He suddenly failed halfway as his head was hit with something. He then quickly looked behind him beyond the portal fuming with anger. "Oi!! Watch where you throwing those stuff!! Stop acting like a child and--- Ouch!!"

Jin "I want to stay longer but it seemed like I need to go now. Take care of you guys, please send my regards to the others as well." He faintly smiles as he waves to us. He lightly jumps towards the portal and it slowly closes up as he entered. His back was shown to us before lightly looking back with a smile.

Everyone quickly said their farewell. Next to me was Sanie who seemed close to tears. Bernard, on the other hand, was crying too hard. It is not like master Vodka will never return. I sighed lightly and notices that Sanie is drying her teary eyes with her paw. I decided to hand over a cloth but I remember that I don't have any handkerchief. I have my scarf, I wonder if it is fine.

Lavri "Sanie, here it's better to wipe your tears with my scarf." I look at her while lightly holding my scarf still attached to my neck.
Sanie "Eh... umm... eh...?" She stares confused at the scarf and to my face. I wonder if she thinks it was too dirty. I always made sure to clean this scarf I'm always wearing daily. It was still newer since my original scarf was given from the far east.
Lavri "Is it too dirty..?" I puzzledly ask as I look at scarf and Sanie.
Sanie "No... no... it is not...." Sanie shakes her head and hesitantly reach her hand to the scarf.
Bernard "Hey Lavri! Can I also use that too! My face is all wet!" He swiftly took my scarf and wipe his face. While at it, he also sneezes on it making a loud noise. "Aahhh that feels better! Thanks, Lavri!"
Sanie "Eh..? eh...? Brother!!" Sanie pouts angrily as she glares at her brother while holding his shoulder. She starts shaking him but Bernard just laughed. I sigh at the two and glance towards the others checking if they are ready. Presia meet up with my eyes and smile gently.

Presia "Oh my! Look at the time~ We should already start this quest~"
Flyx "It best if we gather information for now. So we would know where to go."
Goel "Geez, that's tiring. Let's just go the Great Plain and be done with this!"
Bernard "Askian Hamlet is already located on Great Plain~ So we are already in the Great Plains!" Bernard laughed he was finally released by Sanie. He happily pats her little sister who was still pouting at him.

Lavri "Flyx is right, gathering information will lessen the time of searching. And I know a guy that can help us." Everyone nodded at my words with my approval though Goel was a bit reluctant to it while mumbling. I went ahead and lead them to the location.


------Gathering Information

It was already late morning when we reached the destination. The building seems new and some parts are not completed. The walls are of wood and all the windows are closed. Still, the door was half opened as someone is already inside. Before I could knock on the door. Goel and Bernard already rush inside.

Goel "Hey! This place is a mess... Are sure this is the right place..?"
Bernard "Wow! There are many papers with weird numbers on it!"
Sanie "Brother... Please don't touch anything..."
Presia "Oh my, how uncultured..."
Flyx "Would you guys have some manners and not look at other stuff without permissions..?"
??? *Cough cough* "What are doing here..? This establishment is still not open for any transaction."
Goel "Geeh!! You are..!?"

The man quickly went to Bernard and took the papers while looking at him with stern eyes. Bernard only weakly laughs while apologizing while Sanie hides behind her brother.

Lavri "Sorry for the bother Eadwine."
Eadwine "Oh it is you..? Doesn't matter... Anyway, anything you need..?"
Goel "Hey! Are you really sure about this! This guy is a cheapstake and a conman!"
Presia "You don't have to harsh on your brother~"
Flyx *Cough* "We would like you to ask for any information about these quests..?"
Eadwine "Let me see..." Eadwine looks at the Quest list as he read it thoroughly. He then took his notebook as he started to write something. He then closes the notebook and opened his hand towards to Goel. "I have the information but I need payment before I share it."
Goel "See! This guy is a rip-off! His even asking payment from his brother! And why are you asking me for money!?"
Presia "Calm down Goel~"
Bernard "We're still new as adventurers! So we don't have any gold!"
Eadwine "I'm not talking about that... I'm talking about the normal silver and copper coins."
Flyx "I understand... I have some money from playing songs. Hope this enough." Flyx takes the money he collected from his hobby as I made the deal with Eadwine. While Goel was being silenced by Presia for being too noisy.

Eadwine "Alright this is enough..." He takes his notebook from his pocket and takes a piece of paper. He then wrote something on it before handing it to Flyx.

Since we already done with what we needed. We decided to walk to the Askian farming field where they can find the farmer Beagly.

[Day 1: Early Noon at Askian Hamlet VIllage]

On the distance, we could see the big field. There are radishes, potato and lettuce planted which was ready for harvest. But a part of the field was seemingly destroyed and in a mess. We could see some Kobold Farmer gather around it grumbling.

Bernard "Hello uncle Beagly, uncle Pyre and aunty Holly! Seems like someone made a mess here!"
Sanie "Brother!"
Lavri "Excuse me... What happened here..?"
Farmer Beagly "We got problematic pest..."
Farmer Pyre "Geez. Beagly! Don't ask them to solve our own problems. They're too busy already."
Farmer Colly "We can't handle those things on our own since our number is too little. Won't it better to ask for their help..?"
Presia "It is alright~ It doesn't bother us since we also need something~"
Flyx "We will be glad to help."
Farmer Beagly "That would be really helpful!"

[Day 1: Early Noon Great Plains near Askian Hamlet Farming Field | 10 Goblins]

Goel "So we have wait for something to happen?"
Lavri "Don't worry... I already sent Bernard to check the area."
Flyx "Additionally the Goblins seems to choose to steal at noon and it's already noon."
Presia "Oh my~ I guess it is good that we got taken up with Jin's departure."
Sanie "But why is big brother taking long..?"
Bernard "YAHOOOOOO!!"

Everyone stood shock towards Bernard direction. He was running towards us with a big smile while waving his bow. The problem was the flock of Goblins chasing him angrily. They were throwing stones at him but Bernard just dodges it while laughing.

Sanie "Brother! What just happened!?"
Bernard "Well, when I found them and I was hesitating if I should attack them first or call you guys. Before I noticed it, they already found me~ Ahahaha~"
Lavri "Let's go and finish this"

At my command, Presia and Goel rush towards the Goblins. Flyx pulls his flute as he started to play his [Spellsong] for a buff. Goel throws his axe towards 1 Goblin which hit its head. Ahead of him is Presia as she pulled her whip. She then proceeds to wave it with strong slash towards the two Goblins in-line. It hit the 2 Goblins making them slam at each other. Bernard quickly leapt forward and face towards the 3 Goblins to release multiple arrows hitting them all in the head. Lavri throws the mist knife towards the 2 Goblins hitting directly on the throat.

Sanie "They are seemed to retreating!"
Lavri "We already killed 8 goblins, just two more."
Goel "Let me finish them!" He rushes forward as he pulls his axe from the dead goblin. He grins as he reaches the goblins and prepares to swing his axe. But as he swings it he misses due to the fact the 2 goblins already falls dead on the ground. He looks at the corpse noticing arrows. "Bernard! They were my kills!"

Bernard "Hehehe~ Sorry I thought you wouldn't be able to reach it~"
Presia "Alright, let's gather the corpses."
Flyx "Wait...! Isn't that a large flock of Crows!" As we look towards the direction Flyx Pointed, we saw a large flock of crows. We hear a shout and saw Farmer Colly running towards at us with a scary face.

[Day 1: Late Noon Great Plains near Askian Hamlet Farming Field | 10 Wild Crows]

Farme Colly "HELP! The Wild Crows have arrived too soon. I was hoping to tell it after your done with the Goblins but---"

Spoiler: Sub-Quest: Wild Crows Pest [10]

[Farmer Beagly]> "The crows are getting smarter and they are not affected by the scarecrow anymore. It would be great if the there population will be controlled so the damages will be minimized."

Mission: Eliminate Wild Crows terrorizing on Farmer Colly Field​

Lavri "Understood... Sanie, buy us some time! Flyx speed buff!"
Sanie "Ah..? Alright!"
Flyx "[Haste]" Flyx pulls his flute playing a fast tempo melody which increases the speed of his allies. Sanie quickly readies her staff carefully not letting it touch the ground. She focuses as she tries to comminute to the Wild Crows and made them stop mid-air. Two of Wild Crows hit each other as they fall to the ground injured.

I quickly looked towards Bernard and Presia who nods in response. Bernard jumps high up as I swiftly leapt after him. As he starts falling, I let Bernard land on my open paw propelling him above. He also strongly pushes on my paw towards the direction of the wild crows.

Meanwhile, Presia was holding her fan as she started waving it creating strong winds around her.
Presia "[Wind Dance: Air Wave]" Her wind attacks pushes Bernard as he flew high above in air ahead of everyone towards the crows.We quickly follow as our speed increase from Flyx speed buff.

Bernard "YAAHHHOOOO!!!!!! He quickly pulls arrows from the quiver as he slowly falls. His hood opened wide as it acts as a parachute to lessen the speed of falling. He uses [Rapid Shoot] as he falls down killing 2 crows. As he landed safely he swiftly pulls two arrows and uses [Multi Shoot] killing the 2 crows who passed him.

I leapt towards Presia's fan as she gathers all strength to throw me to the Wild Crows. I swiftly pull two mist knives and use [Quick Attack] to kill the 2 crows mid-air. Meanwhile, Presia quickly waves her two fans to the remaining crows in the sky using [Wing Slash]. Cutting the 2 crows while pushing the other crows away.

Bernard "That's already 8~ I guess..?"
Goel "That was fast..." He was standing on the two fallen crows and steps on them killing both.
Presia "Oh my~ How barbaric~"
Sanie "That's... That's already 10 wild crows."
Bernard "We also minimize the damage in the field!"
Flyx "By the way where have you been Goel..?"
Goel "Trying to loot the dead goblins but they are dirt poor. Sigh... such bad luck."

The farmers gather around their crops saviour. They decided to reward us with fresh potato. As we eat the potato on the fire while resting. We decided to talk about an important issue.

Lavri "It problematic that some monsters will attack the fields again we need some countermeasure."
Flyx "How about building walls to stopped them?"
Presia "Walls are good but there are flying beings like those crows."
Goel "I can't do anything with flying stuff but I can make wooden walls for now. At least for the Orcs to have any use."
Bernard "It would be nice to have archers to guard the walls! I also want to have subordinates."
Sanie "How about earth golems..? I remember seeing details of its creation on master Vodka's papers?"
Presia "Oh my~ Earth Golems are nice~ I remember master Vodka being excited about it but he suddenly stops~"
Flyx "Ah... I remember that it needs living golem core and it's a rank C quest."
Bernard "Aw, that's a bummer."
Lavri "Alright, Goel after this quest starts the creating the wooden walls as the countermeasure for now."
Goel "Okay~ But just to make sure, I'm not paying for the materials."
Presia "Oh my~ What a cheapstake~"
Flyx "We can ask Elder Schnauzer for the expenses issue. Since master Vodka left all the budget to Elder Schaunzer."
Bernard "Good! Then that settles everything! Let's go to the next quest!"
Sanie "Brother! Don't forget we are going to meet Elder Schnauzer for the information!"

[Day 1: Late Noon at Elder Schnauzer's House: Askian Hamlet Acting Chieftan]

Elder Schnauzer was surprised to see us. He let us inside to discuss what he found out. Sadly it's too small for all of us as the room looks crowded. The Askian houses were just small with just room combined for the kitchen, bedroom and living room. Sometimes other Askian Kobolds has two stories depending on the number of their family. But Schnauzer leaves alone so his house is pretty small. Goel and Presia decided to stay outside and just looked in the window.

Elder Schnauzer "I see so you heard about my concerns about the suspicious Orcs. Then, where shall I begin... Ah right...
There are well equip Orcs that seems to be loitering around the Hamlet. I think they are particularly checking the camp where the Orcs, Goel was training.
One night I saw an Orc with missing left ear that was walking away from the camp. I just dismiss it as an Orc trying to get fresh air. But next morning, I noticed that there was no Orc with missing left ear in camp. I also asked Goel about it."

Spoiler: Sub-Quest: Suspicious Orc Activities

[Elder Schaunzer]> " It seemed the unknown Orcs are checking to the Orcs that are leaving in the camp in our Hamlet. I would like you to check if they are dangerous to our Hamlet and what they are planning. And stop them if they bring any danger to our people."

Mission: Observe the suspicious Orcs near the Askian Hamlet and eliminate any sign of threat​

Presia "Oh my... That seems a bit dangerous don't you think..?"
Lavri "It is... Let's deal with this before it is too late."
Bernard "Let's hurry up and kill those guys!"
Sanie "Bro-brother... Please don't be too hasty."
Flyx "Why didn't you tell about this Goel..?"
Goel "Hehehe~ It seems I forgot about!" Everyone eyed at Goel who was looking away. I lightly coughed and quickly accepts Elder Schnauzer's task. Since it is almost night time, it was the perfect time to check on the Orcs.

Flyx "Okay, it seems this is the area where they are usually seen."
Bernard "I can see the Orc! He's just behind the tree peeking in the camp!"
Sanie "Brother don't shout... They might hear us."
Bernard quickly covered his mouth as Presia also made a hush sign with her finger. I glance at them as I point to Orc. They nodded understanding what I meant and sneakily went closer to the Orc. Its appearance was the exact description of Elder Schnauzer.

[Day 1: Early Evening, Great Plains | 10 Orc]

Couple minutes in walk away from the vicinity going towards the forest. The others quietly followed as they make sure not make a sound. Just inside a dense forest, we saw the Orc stopped as a group of 4 Orcs arrived and start to talk to one another. They seemed to be relying upon information, besides Goel who was a regular human. The others were able to understand the what the Orcs are saying.

Goel "Psst... What are they talking?"
Flyx "Sssh... We'll tell you later."

"Orcs reluctant to escape too scared and the captain seemed dead."
"Cowards... Letting those traitors alive is dangerous. "
"We already asked helped from the native monsters."
"Alright, will check the premises while you inform the leader."
The group Orcs nodded and left to the west while the lone one went east.

Lavri "Goel, Bernard and Flyx... You guys follow the one Orc. Don't engage and just observe where he's going. We will quickly follow you after we deal with the 4 Orcs."
Goel "Leave it to me, this kind of stuff is what I'm good at."
Bernard "This is so exciting!"
Flyx "Sshh... Your voice."
Sanie "Please take precaution brother..."
Presia "Wish you luck~ fufufu~"

I saw Goel quickly followed the leaving Orc followed by Flyx and Bernard who is covering his mouth. I nodded towards Presia and Sanie as we headed to the 3 Orcs.

The four Orcs walks just a distance from the Askina Hamlet as if they were checking about the place.
I formulate a simple plan, Sanie will comminute with white rabbits as baits. Orcs are known to be gluttonous so they can't ignore some chubby rabbits. Sanie was a bit reluctant but Presia was able to change her mind using my name. I wonder how..? Anyway... Presia and I decide to climb the trees to take the high ground.

The Orcs quickly notices the rabbits as it passes them. Their stomach grumbles as they drool towards the rabbits. They stare at one another and nod as the went nearer the rabbits.

The rabbits quickly went to our destination as Sanie commanded. Presia and I wait for the right chance. We quickly leapt from the trees towards the Orcs below us. We swiftly cut the two Orcs' throats and dashing to the remaining 2 Orcs ahead killing them with one blow.

Before we could start and head to Bernard's direction. We heard a loud alert and huge commotion.

-------Askian Hamlet After Raid
[Day 15: Early Morning at Askian Hamlet]

Lavri 'Master Vodka has decided to stay in the Askian Hamlet to make sure that is fully restored and prepared for future attacks. It was reassuring but at the same time a bit troubling. After all, we are always relying on and being a burden to him. I pledge that I would grow stronger to lighten his burdens. I was not the only one who felt that way. I could somehow feel that others feel this way too.

We waited for Presia and Sanie fully recovery. As they woke up, we gathered everyone and decided to go find the Kobolds: Vizlsa and Frise who have some information about them. Since the hamlet is still recovering, all the Askian Kobolds are helping each in rebuilding the Hamlet. We finally found the two Kobolds as they are taking a break and eating.

Bernard "Uncle Vizlsa and Auntie Frise! We need to ask something!" He waves hands as his tail waggles happily. Everyone also followed behind him.

Vizlsa "Oh, Bernard and Sanie glad you guys are well."
Frise "I heard about the help you did to Beagly and the rest."
Sanie "Umm... Yes, we're glad to be able to help."
Lavri "Excuse me, we would like to ask of any troubles recently?"
Frise "Oh, Lavri are you talking about then Boar Warriors and Rhinos right? We're just talking about that with Vizsla."
Vizlsa "Yes, we never expected that this might be connected to the Orc raid. If we could have informed earlier. We could avoid damages and called master Vodka faster."
Frise "We really lucky that you guys are quick to take action. We avoid any losses but we felt sorry about the other villages."
Goel "Hey! Can we just hear the information already..." He clicks his tongue tired from the talking.
Frise "I don't think it would help anything since it's already late."
Presia "Oh my, sorry for this guy insolence," She pinches Goel's ears who was looking away. "Please share what you know, it's best for us to know. So we can learn and prevent anything that happens."

Spoiler: Sub-Quest: Boar Warrior's Gathering [5]

[Hunter Vizlsa]> "While I was hunting near the Askian Hamlet, I even saw them talking with an Orc. I started to follow them and saw the Boar Warrior are gathering together and preparing something. It might a negotiation about the Orc Raid. Well, it is already late but maybe check the surviving forces."

Mission: Search the remaining Boar Warriors who might be involved in the Orc Raid.​

Spoiler: Sub-Quest: Rhino's Hostility Problem [8]

[Herbalist Frise]> "You know, there is always a pack of Rhinos in the place where are gather herbs. But weirdly they numbers are decreasing and the remaining ones are on high alert. So they would immediately attack when they notice anything."

Mission: Check why the Rhinos are decreasing and more hostile.​

Flyx "It does seem connected." At his words, everyone starts to nod and think about the coincidence.
Lavri "We should check and search..." I decided to break the ice and go deeper to the Great Plains to search any leads. "Bernard and I will go to scout and search for the Boar Warriors--"
Zinnia "Kyuuuu!" She went flying to my side as she rubs on my check.
Sanie "Zinnia..! Umm..! Sorry Lavri..!" Her face turns bright red. "Zinnia please stop!"
Presia "Oh my~ Seems like Zinnia really like Lavri fufufu~" She covers her mouth with her fan.
Bernard "Ahahaha! Lavri did always look out for Zinnia and Eins during the battle." He looks to the Askian Hamlet where Eins was as he was sleeping soundly.
Flyx "I see, guess a lot of things happen in the Village 1."
Lavri "Don't worry Sanie, Zinnia can come with me. Zinnia can be responsible for calling you guys if we already found them."
Zinnia "Kyuuuu!" She happily flaps her wings in agreement.
Goel "Sho! Sho! Just go already. We're just wasting time talking here." He clicks his tongue as he waves his hand shooing us away. Presia angrily look at him which just made him look away. Bernard laughs as he starts to leap to the trees to start searching. I nod and quickly follows Bernard as Zinnia flies next to me.

[Day 15: Late Morning, Great Plains | 5 Boar Warriors & cont. 10 Orcs]

We search to the deep forest looking for the Boar warriors when we finally found some. There was a group Boar Warriors and Orcs having an argument with each other. They are throwing insults and it seems to be almost leading to a fight.

Lavri "Zinnia, please call the others" I quickly look at Zinnia who was biting my Scarf. She quickly understands as she looks at me and the Boar Warriors.
Zinnia "Kyuu~" She nods and quickly flew towards Sanie direction. While we and Bernard watch the Boar Warrior as we wait. Moments later, the others finally arrive as they appeared near us on the branches.

Goel "Look at them quarrelling each there~ It's an easier job to make them kill each other."
Bernard "Hey! We need to be the one to kill them you know!"
Flyx "Ssh... Bernard quiet."
Sanie "I'm very... sorry for my Brother..."
Presia "Oh my~ it's nice to see everyone on this view fufufu~" She looks at everyone standing on the branches.
Lavri "Everyone, the fight already broke out," I call everyone attention as the group of Boar Warriors and Orcs are starting to kill each other. It would be pointless if all of them is dead because of their fighting. "Let's finish this..."

Flyx plays a [Spell Song] that increase our over-all combat. I quickly leapt down from the tree, stabbing the head of the nearest Boar Warrior. Presia swiftly follows as she throws the whip on a Boar Warrior's neck. As she falls the ground the Boar Warrior was pulled upwards and died of strangulation. Bernard releases arrow as he hit the neck of another Boar Warrior. Sanie calls to nature where the vines bind the Orcs and Boar Warriors. Zinnia quickly leaps to the Boar Warrior biting his neck. Goel whistles from the sight as he leaps down swinging the axe to the Boar Warrior necks.

Lavri "That's 5 Boar Warriors totally." As I spoke, Bernard looks at me with a smile.
Bernard "There are Orcs left~ What are we gonna do?"
Sanie "Umm... Lavria and Presia have already killed 4 Orcs earlier."
Goel "Was that during the raid..? I thought the kills in the raid are not counted."
Presia "Oh, my~ It was before the Orc Raid started so it's fine fufufu~"
Flyx "Everyone, the vines binding Orcs is almost broken." He points out while still playing the song. The Orcs squirm around as they try to break the vines binding them.

Lavri "Let's quickly finish this..." I rush towards the Orc as I slash it with my phantom claw. Presia quickly uses her whip to slash the Orc breaking its bones. Goel kicks the Orc stomach as he swiftly hit his axe on the face. Sanie once again controls the vines to bind the Orcs as Zinnia jumps as release a poisonous breath to an Orc killing it. Bernard uses [Rapid Arrow] killing 2 Orcs who almost escape. We killed all the Orcs which was 6 plus the 4 before the raids making the quest completed.

Goel "Finally, we are done with this quest." He tiredly massages his shoulders.
Flyx "Not yet Goel, we still got to do the 2 quest. The rampaging Rhino."
Bernard "Ahahaha~ Right! That unicorn one! Let's look for the lady under apple tree!"
Sanie "Umm... But which apple tree..?"
Presia "Oh, my~ That's also a problem since it is vague."
Lavri "Maybe the largest apple tree on the South the Hamlet. Before that let's go to the place Herbalist Frise pointed out for the rampaging rhinos." I thought maybe the fire or the battle destroyed it. But it is best to check just to be sure. I walk ahead as they silently follow.

[Day 15: Early Noon, Great Plains | 8 Rampaging hinos]

Flyx "Wait? Goel is not with us..."
Bernard "I saw him busily looting the corpse of the Orcs and Boar Warriors! Such hardworking looter~"
Sanie "Umm... Should we wait for him..?"
Presia "Don't bother~ Let's just go ahead, he will just follow our tracks."
Lavri "Sshh... It seems we already are here." I ask them to hide in the bushes as we saw the rampaging rhinos. From the look at them, they have armours and covered with blood. The rhinos are in chaos are they are screaming and try to destroy everything in sight.

Bernard "The rhinos are acting strange."
Sanie "What are they doing..?"
Flyx "Look at the blood and wounds. It amazing how they are able to survive."
Presia "Oh my~ They seems to be surviving Rhinos. They lost their riders so they are confused and is rampaging."
Lavri "It would be dangerous if left alone."
Sanie "Couldn't we try to help them..?"
Goel "Tsk... It's too late for them. They are already traumatized by the war. We have no choice but just end their suffering."
Bernard "Welcome back Goel!"
Flyx "That was fast..."
Goel "Hehehe~ I'm pro when it comes to looting. Plus, this item box is amazing. Before I have to only take the stuff that will sell high. But now I can loot everything without thinking about the weight! Mwahahahaha!"

Suddenly the rampaging rhinos look towards the noise making Goel flinch. As he looks behind seeing everyone was gone, we already evacuated. The Rhinos quickly rush towards him forming a stampede. Goel quickly runs for his life while the Rhino chases him. Flyx quickly plays a [Spellsong] for a support.

Goel "Hey! What kind of song is that!? It' like it calling for my impending doom!"
Lavri "Remember don't break the horns and."
Bernard "Alright!" He gives thumbs up as he uses [Rapid Shot] but it didn't penetrate the armour. "What..!?"
Presia "Oh my~ Their armour is quite strong~"
Flyx "This is dangerous! They are hitting the trees!"
Sanie "I will try to stop them!" She controls the vine trying to stop the rampage of the Rhinos.
Lavri "Now's the chance! Bernard blind them!"
Bernard "That's easy!" He grins as he pulls an arrow and accurately aims to the eye. The Rhinos scream halting for a moment. Presia and I quickly take this chance to aim for the neck and kill 2 Rhinos. We quickly dodge the other 2 incoming Rhinos with our high agility. Presia switches to her rope and binds the Rhino's neck tightening it with her strength and killing it. I once again dash forward to the Rhino who pass me and aim for the belly with my claw.

Goel "I thought you guys are gonna leave me to die there!" He quickly slides to dodge the incoming Rhino and aim for the neck killing it. He then jumps towards the coming on and rides on top of it as he repeatedly aims his axe at it's until it dies.

Zinnia "Kyuu!!" She quickly rushes towards the 2 Rampaging Rhinos running towards Sanie location. He stomach grow bigger as she inhales air. She quickly breath poisonous gas towards the 2 Rhinos who stop moving and starts fuming as they fall to the ground.

Sanie "Please Stoop!" Her eyes were teary as she saw the state of the remaining of the Rhinos. Since they already completed the quest and kill 8 rhinos. She wanted the surviving to stop rampaging anymore. She accidentally places the tip of the [Trent Staff] on the ground causing an immense flood of flower growing.

Bernard "Eh..? Sanie..?" He stops releasing his bow as he was started by Sanie shouts.
Flyx "The Rhinos they are stopping..?"
Presia "Oh, my~ So pretty"

The remaining Rhinos stop in their tracks on the ground as they saw the flower. They stare at the flowers surrounding and starts smelling it. The Rhinos calming down as the corpse of their fellow Rhinos covered by flowers. Tears seem to drops from their eyes as they look at sanie who was holding the staff tightly. For a reason the fully understand what was Sanie relaying on that everything is over. They scream to the Sky as if to cry and starts walking away leaving the aftermath of the battle behind.

Bernard "Wow that amazing!"
Goel "Shouldn't we kill the rest! It is dangerous! Plus their ivory is-- Ouch!"
Lavri "Let's just leave me, it is fine already." After I hit Goel's side. I look worriedly at Sanie who staring at the Rhino leaving to the distance. I just lightly pat her head and smile. "You've done well, shall we go to the next destination..."

Sanie "Umm.. Yes..." She was still dazed as she looks at her staff. She glances one last time to the Rhinos leaving before she quickly follows me. Goel and Bernard quickly gathered the 8 Rhino's horn before catching up.


[Day 15: Late Noon, Great Plains | 1 Unicorn]

As we walk to the South we saw the apple tree not having fruits or leaves. Well, it was still winter season. But we notice a woman with brown hair looking at it.

Alaine "Brother, why are you here..?"
Goel "Alaine! Don't tell you are being bothered by a unicorn!?"
Alaine "Ah.. yes, it was embarrassing to say." She moves the hair locks on the back of ears with a troubled expression.
Presia "Oh, my~ Should we have a girl talk~ Sanie and Flyx please come with me. You guys can move away. Wait for us down the hill fufufu~"
Sanie "Umm... Alright, Zinnia please come with me." Zinnia quickly flies towards her.
Lavri "Take your time," I don't really understand what the reason is but I decided to give them space.
Goel "Hey! I'm your brother! And why is Flyx coming with you guys!?"
Flyx "I also wondered that..." Still, he follows the girls.
Bernard "Okay Presia! Will be going now!" He smiled widely as he drags Goel and Lavri away.

We waited while Goel was pacing back and forth with an irritated expression. Bernard was happily checking at his arrows while I clean the blood off my weapons.

Presia "Everyone!" She waves her fan to us. For some reason, Flyx has a grim expression while Sanie was looking away. As they come closer, Presia expression was grim as she smiles evilly. "We need to kill some nuisance..."

As she opened her mouth to tell how Aliane meet a unicorn while looking for herbs. She was getting harassed by it since then making her uncomfortable.

Spoiler: Sub-Quest: Talk to the Lady about the Unicorn Problem

[Alaine Roux]> "I was just gathering some wild vegetable on the plains when I feel I was being watched. Then I noticed the horse watching me but it started to feel creepy and scary. The gaze it was giving was similar to those men I meant before. I'm really scared but I don't know what to do."

Mission: Eliminate the stalker unicorn.

Goel "Damn that pervert unicorn!" He grits his teeth.
Flyx "I head in tales that unicorns like a pure maiden."
Lavri "So we need to lure it..?"
Presia "Alright! I volunteer! I'm pure as a sharp blade!"
Sanie "Brother... You're not even a maiden."
Lavri "Sanie is out of the question since it might be dangerous for her."
Presia "Oh my~ Then should I'll be the bait?"
Goel "No, that's impossible," He looked up and down towards. "You look like an experienced woman, appearance-wise you ain't pure at all."
Sanie "What that suppose to mean..!?" She pouted as her tails raise above.
Lavri "Then who is going to use as bait..?" I ask while looking at everyone, ignoring Bernard who keeps raising his hand. In the end, Presia, Goel and I look at one person with a serious face.

Fluff "Why me..!?" A bunny girl stands alone near the Forest with a pale face.
Presia "Oh my~ It suits you well Fluff fufufu~" She giggles as she covers her mouth.
Bernard "Eh..? That kind of bait?"
Sanie "Do you really understand it, brother?"
Lavri "Hmm... It might work." I still don't fully understand everything just like Bernard. But I decided to just agree since I can't think of other plans.
Fluff "But I'm not even a--"
Goel "Alright let's begin the plan! I can't wait to get my hand on that damn unicorn! This is a trap inside a trap! A perfect trap!" His eyes burned with anger. Bernard claps towards Goel's determination while Presia smiled evenly. I'm kinda bit worried as both Sanie and I stares at the others while hiding in the bushes. We waited a couple of hours while Fluff was playing the flute under a large tree.

Fluff "See... I don't think this will even work."
Suddenly a sound of neighing was heard as a unicorn appeared behind Fluff licking Fluff's cheeks who shiver.

Fluff "Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!"
Goel "We got you bastard!" He shouts and then looks towards Sanie.
Sanie "Oh strands of our nature, bind thy enemy..." The vines appear beneath the unicorn getting hold of its feet. But it was able to break it appear easily.
Lavri "The unicorn seems quite strong, Presia!"
Presia "Oh my~ Do you think you could escape that easily!" She smiled as she pulled the whip and throws it around the unicorn's neck.
Bernard"Are you alright Fluff! You really baited it! Good Job!"
Fluff "I don't feel happy at all... That was embarrassing. Why did I shout like a girl...?"

As Bernard checks and helps Fluff. I stand beside Sanie as I watch Presia binding the unicorn in the neck as Goel went close.

Goel "Its time for you to pay your crimes, you perverted bastard. No one messes with my sister."
Presia "Oh my~ Let me help you with that Goel~"
Fluff "Please also kick it for me... I guess..."
Bernard "Hahaha~ For some reason, I feel I don't to lend a hand."
Sanie "Uum... Why is everyone acting weird..? It's kinda scary..."
Lavri "Sigh... Don't worry about. Let's leave it to them." I decided to lead Sanie away as Bernard and Fluff follows. As we left we heard screams and laughter. We decided to ignore what the two did as long as they killed the unicorn. The Unicorn might be strong but facing two people filled with rage, it doesn't have a chance at all. With this, the quest is finally completed.​

[Day 1: Early Morning, Askain Hamlet]

--------Preparation

Bernard 'Hello! wait should it be Sup' like master Vodka~ My name is Bernard and a Kobold follower of master Vodka. I aim to be at least 10%... No, at least 5% of master Vodka's strength! That's right~ I should focus and start the quest! I'm the one doing the report due to Lavri deciding that we should try to pick a quest and write a report. So, I volunteer first but I think I also wanted to try it when I saw Lavri writing one! This will be fun!'

Everyone is looking at the quests list that I have picked up. But the atmosphere seems weird.

Goel "What's up with this choices!? I'm fine the others but this chicken one pays little!"
Presia "Oh my! Why are there snakes here!? I'm not good with snakes!"
Flyx "Tuna...? I'm not really good with water or fishing."
Sanie "Umm.... Brother, Why does this familiar..?"
Lavri "It is the same with a quest that master Vodka has taken."
Bernard "That's right! As expected from Lavri! I always try doing the same quest!"
Flyx "Master Vodka huh? Guess, it like following his footprints." I gave thumbs up to Flyx.
Presia "Guess we don't have any choice fufufu~"
Sanie "Umm... I'm very sorry about my brother..."
Lavri "It doesn't matter, let's just begin our quest."
Goel "Tche- Alright let's just be done with this already."
Bernard "I'll lead the way, everyone! Follow me!" I look at everyone as they stand up and start going to the exit. I smile happily as I run ahead of them while waving my paw. Their eyes stare at me blankly, some give sigh while others laugh as they follow me.


[Day 1, Mid Morning: Eadwine's Information Office]

Bernard "Sir Eadwine! We would like if you have any information about these quests!"
Eadwine "Why did sound like I'm a knight? I'm weak at physical activities so spare me with that title. Just call me Roux--" He looks at his brother and sighs, "Nevermind, Eadwine is fine."
Goel "What's that suppose that mean!? Hey, what!?"
Presia "Oh my~ Seems like your office is in rumbles." She looks to the burnt rooftop showing a nice view.
Flyx "We feel sorry for what happen to your place."
Eadwine "Don't mind it, I just got unlucky and have the building I newly built burn and lose substantially budget."
Sanie "...Umm, I'm sorry."
Lavri "So let's discuss this quest..." He hands down some silver and coins as he shows the quest list to Eadwine.

Eadwine "Seems like the quest you got are located in Delta Town." He takes his notebook and compares it the information. He then hands down a paper towards Lavri.

Bernard "As expected from four eyes! We're going now!"
Sanie "Brother...!"
Flyx "Sorry about this child, Eadwine... He didn't mean ill will."
Eadwine "I don't really care..."
Presia "Thanks, Eadwine~ See you next time~"
Goel "Eady! Make sure you rest properly!"
Eadwine nods to our direction as he waits for all us to exit the door. I make sure everyone is present as I walk towards the Frontier Village to enter the Teleportation Portal. No matter how many time, I use the portal, it is pretty convenient.

Bernard "Alright! Let's go to the Aeternus and then go through the teleportation portal. And then to the Delta Town! Entering different Portals is so fun!"


[Day 1, Late Noon: Delta Town | 100 Rats ]

Bernard "I think we should pair ourselves! So we can kill 100 rats quickly!"
Flyx "That makes sense, not bad." Hearing the compliment made me blush. So I giggled while my tail moves excitedly.
Presia "Sounds fun, fufufu~"
Sanie "Umm... So how are we going to pair up..?"
Bernard "You can pair up with Lavri! Presia can pair up with me! While Flyx will pair up with Goel!"
Lavri "Alright... Let's do our best Sanie." He looks to Sanie while nodding while She could only blush and bow heavily making me grin.
Goel "Hehehe~ I'll be in your care Flyx~"
Flyx "I hope nothing bad happens..."
Presia "Shall we meet at the Town's Center."
Lavri "That's a good choice."
Sanie "Umm... How many do we need to kill?"
Goel "We are 3 pairs so one group will have to kill 40 while the other two pair is 30. I and Flyx will handle the 40 rats."
Bernard "Then it's settled! Remember guys! Be careful not to get lost!"
Flyx "I think only master Vodka will get lost easily" Upon his words, we laugh at loud before heading to separate ways.

I and Presia went the market to kill rats. Presia was able to easily search rats due to her primal instincts. She was able to kill 20 rats while I killed 10 while using my keen eyes. Goel and Flyx went to the harbour, their plan was for Flyx to play a music that lures the rats to the trap Goel made. It was a pitfall with blazing fire below. Flyx tires his best to hypnotize about 40 Rats and let them leapt to the pitfall and burn to death. Goel then buries the dead rats on the pitfalls to avoid any problems such as plague as he told me. Sanie uses his druid abilities to summon owls and falcons to kill the rats near the plantation. Lavri also helps a bit by throwing mist knives to the fleeing rats. Lavri and Sanie killed a total of 30 rats. After that, we meet up to the Town Center. Of course, making sure everyone present as I do a roll call.

Bernard "Good job everyone!"
Presia "Oh my~ I'm glad we are done.~"
Goel "I don't know how the other adventurers handle killing 100 rats alone."
Lavri "Shall we start the next quest?"
Sanie "Ah! Yes, the 10 Chickens..."
Flyx "I already meet Merchant Rowie while walking. I'll lead the way..." He walks ahead as we quickly followed. I the distance, I could see a chubby merchant who was sweating a lot near the harbour. Seems like he is worried and troubled.


[Day 1, Mid Noon: Delta Town | Gather 10 Chickens]

Merchant Rowie "Oh thank goodness! You came back sir Flyx!"

Spoiler: Sub-Quest: Missing Chickens

[Merchant Rowie]> "While we are transporting the chickens. The cage door got destroyed during the travels and the chickens escape! COuld you please help me gather the chickens!"

Mission: Gather the 10 missing chickens.​

Bernard "We will gladly take this quest!"
Goel "Geez... Why are the adventurers work end up like some strange workers-- Ouch!"
Presia "Oh my~ I think searching the chickens will be easy right~"
Sanie "Um... Why..?"
Lavri "We got you and Flyx so it would be easy."
Flyx "Alright then shall we start Sanie? I'll play a rooster song and you can locate the chicken's voice to track them."
Sanie "I'll do my best!"

Flyx swiftly plays a song that seems to be a rooster sound. Suddenly several chicken voices can be heard. Lavri, Presia and I quickly twitch our ears as we locate the location of the chickens. Sanie uses her druid to command the chicken to come to our location. Since she has a limited area, we work hard to gather chickens who are far away.

Mertchant Rowie "Thank you very much I'm very grateful! Ah, it seems you guys got 10 chickens that don't belong to me. You can have them."
Bernard "Ahahaha~ I almost forgot that we also need to gather 10 chickens!" I laugh as I hold the chicken and balance it to my head.
Flyx "We got lucky that we completed it."
Goel "Hey..? How many chickens that Merchant really have?"
Presia "Oh my~ We should just thankful to complete the quest."
Lavri "Good Job, Sanie."
Sanie "Thank you..."
Bernard "Alright! Let's go to the next quest!" We went to the harbour to look for the fisherman.


[Day 1, Late Noon: Delta Town | Fish 5 Speedy Tunas | 5 Sea Snakes | 10 Water Spiders]

Bernard "Hey! Is there anyone with the name Dowie here!?"
Sanie "Please brother your voice..."
Flyx "The people staring at us is making me embarrassed."
Presia "I don't think it's that bad~"
Goel "I'm used to people staring at me weirdly anyway~"
Lavri "Someone is coming..." Upon his words, we look to the direction and show a fisherman that was bulk and a bandana. He smiles as he looks at us.

Fisherman Dowie "Wow! You guys are sure did come in a large number. That is reassuring, I will tell everything once we got to the boat." We nod at his words and introduce ourselves. We also help in preparing his boat for the departure as we went to the sea.

Spoiler: Sub-Quest: Escort to the Sea | Surge of Spiders and Snakes threat

[Fisherman Dowie]> "We lack some personnel and it seems like the sea is getting dangerous. There is a surge in an increase of attacks from sea snakes and water spiders. I need some escorts who will help me when I go fishing."

Mission: Protect the fishing boat in the sea. Fish some Speedy Tuna while at it.​

Bernard "We will do our best on killing any monsters that will attack the ship!"
Lavri "Just be sure that you don't overdo it." He pats my shoulder while I just give a thumbs up.
Flyx "The view is nice-- Wait! Presia what are you doing!?"
Presia "Taking my clothes off? We need to fight on the water and catch some fish right?" She said while looking innocent. Showing off a swimsuit that she already wore earlier in Flyx relief.
Fisherman Dowie "Nice" The fisherman gives a thumbs up at the view.
Goel "Hey old man, you need to pay to look at our lady~" He put his hands on the fisherman's shoulder while showing a money symbol on his free hand. Not fully understanding what the two talking about. I look at Sanie who is nervously looking Lavri who is uninterestedly looking towards the sea.

Lavri "Is there any problems..?" He notices Sanie stares who's face suddenly flushes red.
Sanie "Ah... nothing..."
Bernard "Let's go to the sea Lavri! Let's do some fishing!"
Presia "Nyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!" Suddenly a loud shriek has called our attention as we look to the direction.

Flyx "What's wrong Presia..?" Presia quickly runs and hug Flyx as she pointed to the sea.
Presia "When I was swimming, I saw a lot of sea snakes underwater. It was terrifying...."
Sanie "What should we do..?"
Goel "They might be preparing for an ambush. Shall we go ahead and kill them?"
Bernard "Alright let's do this!"
Lavri "Just be careful not to get bitten."

Goel and Lavri jump to the sea while I quickly follow. We saw the sea snakes underwater immediately notice us and rush. I pulled my arrow and aim for on snake which fails miserably, I forgot about the water ahahaha. Goel quickly rushes with his axe as he grabs the sea snakes head and cut it. Lavri holds his mist knife as he easily swims towards the 2 sea snakes in cutting into halves. I quickly jump back to the boat as I prepare my arrow. Two snakes appear from the sea, I quickly release my arrow killing 1. While the other sea snakes were suddenly grabbed into the air by a strange creature who starts eating it.

Sanie "Zinnia you followed us..?" She smiles as she looks the little green dragon in the sky.
Zinnia "Kyuu~" She rubs her cheek to Sanie while burping from the meal.
Goel "The other sea snakes already run away after Lavri scared them."
Lavri "I don't think I did much..."
Bernard "Good Job! Everyone that's 5 sea snakes."
Fisherman Dowie "It is reassuring to have adventurers! It seems we arrive at the right place. We can start fishing here." Upon his words, Goel and I quickly assisted as we help the net. Lavri prepares his mist knife as he ties a rope on eat. Presia finally calming down, release Flyx as she looks to the sea.

Flyx "By the way how do we catch the speedy tuna? We have no fishing rod?"
Bernard "Lavri and me will do something about." I give a wide grin and a thumbs up.
Lavri "Let's go..." He only sighs as he jumps back into the water.
Presia "I'm coming with you!"
Flyx "Aren't you going Sanie..?"
Sanie "Umm... I'll pass." She hugs Zinnia while seemingly sulking.
Goel "Hey mister, do you have any spare fishing rod I can use to fish some speedy tunas..?"
Fisherman Dowie "Of course I got spare~ They are pretty sturdy so they can withstand the Tuna strength as long as your strength. But you seem Bulky enough, ahahaha~" He pats Goel who only shows off his muscles as they went to get the fishing rod.

I and Lavri try to catch but they are to fast even Presia who was also fast couldn't catch up as they have water advantage. Lavri then notices something as he pokes me to look to his right. We saw water spiders and several webs tangling the reefs. Presia nods to Lavri understanding his plan but I just confused tilt my head. They frighten the speedy tuna as they make them follow a certain path. It seems they are making the tunas run towards the webs.

As the speedy tunas crush to the web they got entangled and bind. Lavri and I quickly went and got the web to get the speedy tunas. While Presia made sure that the spiders don't take them. We raise above the sea carrying the speedy tunas inside the web.

Bernard "We caught 3 speedy tunas!"
Lavri "It was easy due to the water spiders."
Presia "I also killed the 3 water spiders in the sea, fufufu~"
Flyx "Good Job! It seems like the others also caught something."
Goel "That was fast, I caught 1 but I wanted another one to bring home."
Fisherman Dowie "You can take the one I caught, hearing about family teared me up!" He handed the speedy tuna he caught to Goel. As the two quickly have a
Zinnia "Kyuu! Kyuu!" She appears beside Sanie while hugging a speedy Tuna.
Sanie "So you went fishing... I thought you went home!" She pats ZInnia as it made a sound of happiness while tail wagging.

Since we got 5 speedy tunas and 1 extra for Goel's siblings. Fisherman Dowie has also finish fishing and decide to get to the Town. We agree as we only need to kill the remaining water spiders since Presia already killed 3 earlier. As we almost reach ashore the boat seems to get stuck as something starts crawling to the deck.

Fisherman Dowie "I was wondering why they didn't appear earlier. To ambush when going back to steal the fish..."
Presia "Oh my~ Don't worry mister, we can easily deal with them fufufu~"
Flyx "Alright I'll do my best to support."
Goel "Lucky~ It seems like we don't need to search~"
Bernard "Alright! Let's kill them!"
Sanie "Just don't overdo it, brother."

Lavri already rush ahead as he slashes the coming 2 water spider. I release my arrow to 2 while Presia slashes her whip on 1. Goel also hit 1 water spider with an axe while murmuring about crabs. Zinnia also joins as she bites 1 water spider and starts chewing it.

Lavri "That's 10 water spiders total.."
Fisherman Dowie "Good job, everyone! Now we only need to break the webs."
Goel "Alright~ Let's go Lavri!" He drags Lavri towards the web tangled on the boat.
Presia "Oh my~ Sorry, I don't have any blade to help with."
Bernard "Do your best everyone!"
Sanie "I'm worried about you Zinnia for eating anything." She pats ZInnia who was coiling around her neck.

Goel and Lavri cut the webs and the boat starts to move to the shore. After arriving in the port, we send our goodbye to fisherman Dowie. Since it was pretty late and going to be hard to gather some lumber. Presia advises us to go home and rest.


[Day 2, Early Morning: Delta Town | 10 lumbers]

As the morning finally arrived, we quickly went to the Delta town. We search for Woodcutter Woodie and finally seeing him near to the Delta Town exit.

Spoiler: Sub-Quest: Looking for part-time Tree Cutters | 10 lumbers

[Woodcutter Woodie]> "Oh, you're the guys who gonna helping me for carrying the lumbers? Due to damage caused in the Orcs attack to the villages in Great Plains. We got influx request for lumber. So we are asking for help in the manpower."

Mission: Part-time Woodcutter.

Woodcutter Woodie "This is problematic... There is mostly kids here and women."
Flyx "I can't really give that much help in carrying or cutting lumbers."
Goel "Hey! Wouldn't that mean I need to do the work alone!?"
Bernard "Don't worry! Even though we are small we can join hand and do the job!"
Sanie "Umm... I can do my best is finding the best-overgrown tree to cut down.'
Lavri "We can try our best."
Presia "Oh my~ We're not ordinary so you don't have to worry about anything~"

Sanie starts to use her druidic magic to search for over-grown trees. As she pointed out the direction, we quickly move to the direction at look at the large tree. Goel starts to cut the tree while Presia borrows an axe to cut another tree. I and Lavri just waited patiently as we join forces to carry the lumber. It was really petty that we have no enough strength to cut off a tree easily. Sanie was at least useful as she is busy pointing out the trees to be cut.

Lavri "This body is really troubling.."
Bernard "What is..?" I ask Lavri who is in-depth on thought as he looks to his paw. For some reason, I thought about the time when Lavri transforms to.

After several hours of helping the Woodcutter. We are able to gather 10 lumbers, mostly due to Goel and Presia strength while Sanie did her best in guiding them. We finally finish helping the woodcutter and starts to head back to the guild.​

Spoiler: Quest Report!

After leaving the guild,I immediately headed to find Slime's and Goblins since i consider them the weakest.
Day 1.So weak even though i expected them to be one never though they be that weak,since my body has 2x strength an adult and stamina is included in strength i finished the 2 Quest easily.
Day 2.After traveling to the orcs camp border,I Started searching for lone orcs scouting the area to assassinate since im not comfident of facing 4-5 orcs at once,it took me the whole day to finish the quest though its not hard its time consuming to search for lone orcs.
Day 3.Did the same with Boar warriors hunting them 1 by 1 although they are strong its only brute strength without any techniques and easily taken care of
day 4.Reaching the kobold village i got ambush by 6 kobold for being careless since i always finished my quest easily that it got to my head,I did get my cloak and leather armor tattered though just a few scratches here and there, it did regenerate for 1 hours before it covered up since its not omnipotent and its just shallow wounds,I Did finish the quest by the end of the day tattered and tired since my regeneration took stamina as well for it to work.
Day 5.I Finally Returned to the guild reception desk i feel guilty since i though the receptionist was sleeping so i actually threw the quest papers in the table thinking how unresponsible the receptionist was for sleeping never though she's blind so i came to apologize by walking up to receptionist and saying "sorry" in a voice loud enough for 2 people to hear.
