Since I only read the translations, all the momentum is towards the tournament arc so I don’t mind if it is long. It isn’t just a tournament. I believe Yun Che has to figure out and hopefully take the first steps to solve whatever trouble Jasmine is in. That is the point of him going in the first place although I am sure he will participate and powerup as well.
I’m wondering how she will react. The fact the author gave her some sort of split personality could mean she’ll give out two concurrent reactions depending what mode she is in. Like she’ll beat the crap out of him in one mode and be lovey-dovey in the other.
I wonder what are the chance that instead of declining, she will recovered and even breakthrough, given that MC has all those amazing bloodlines.. I mean so far everyone that do it with MC will receive huge upgrade ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Spoiler: Speculation(not spoiler) judging from the previous writing style of the author, the brahma goddess (jasmine's enemy) will most likely become some sort of s*x slave for mc. (This speculation rises from SW and HS, previous work of author). Besides, the author would not mention her beauty if he was gonna kill her.
I would think the chances are pretty good they'll go as you say. Though I have read Shura's Wrath, well a good portion of it (not to the latest translated chapters), I think it is a little over the top. I think ATG is a little more level headed in comparison.
Also thinking about it a little more (I’ll put it in spoiler tags too although it also is just speculation.) Spoiler: Speculation The Brahma Godess is a major antagonist. While in Shura’s Wrath, that may give her the qualifications for the MC to get into her bones, I doubt so here. Mainly because she is the enemy of Jasmine and Jasmine is the true harem material.
Wonder if we'll ever see Yun Che use the Sky Poison Pearl's poison to kill a whole city or something. Although doing so would probably risk someone recognising the aura of the poison or something.
Well, SW is a liiittle rushed, and no harem development (if not count those two-three quick chapters about becoming husband and wife with harem, and only on paper)
Yeah I stopped reading about 100 chapters ago but I was astounded that Mars could wrap it up so fast according to the total chapter count. So I am not surprised if it seemed rushed. I get where the above poster thought the Brahma Goddess could become a love interest because in Shura’s Wrath even the Moon Goddesses became one I believe. But I think it would conflict with Jasmine and she is too evil for Yun Che’s tastes.
Yes. But lately Mars began to lose that "good scenes", as I say earlier, and began to break some good story moments, and replace it with some old storyloops *There must be a spoiler...*
No long running novel stays as good as the first few hundred chapters. But I still find this novel engaging, much more so than all the others. I went back to Shura's Wrath to start to catch up. I can't believe the MC had sex with leng'er , that pseudo undead little girl. I'm glad ATG is of a different sort (so far at least )

What is the moon goddess? I haven’t read the last 2 chapters so I may have missed it. I agree that the next arc after the tournament will be the moon realm wedding and it will be a mess if the Brahma Goddess interferes. Little aunt will probably get a bigger role at some point (to the dismay of many here. A lot of the posters don’t like her. But I don’t really have a strong opinion of her.)
