Sooner or later TDG will be dropped or end with a rushed ending, Mad Snail is already writing a new novel with another pseudonym. That is an example of a true bad author. (I'm also looking at you, author of Absolute Choice, 2 novels dropped too)
I'd rather Mars takes a break every now and then instead of forcing himself to pump out daily chapters and ATG turning into filler shit like MGA and ED.
I consider a novel with like one chapter a month virtually dropped. I think he just keeps it going because there is a manga (or the Chinese equivalent). As I remember he put in a massive time skip too and he still won't be able to finish it. Starting a novel under another name showed he lost interest. I liked Absolute Choice! I was hit hard when it was dropped. Hopefully, this is a phase and Mars will get back on track.
I totally agree, for his current "problem" he was forced to advance the plot instead of keep playing with the Soul Sect or searching for treasures / cultivating.

I'm not familiar with the publishing company he works for (I know it's not Qidian) but I guess there is worry that less chapters means less ranking, less reads which equals less money. I'm glad he is communicating with his readership.
Can you blame him? .. authors usally get stressed too when writing .. look at the guy who Wrote Naruto he got sick alot and the guy who wrote Bleach etc .. i know they arent chinese or korean novels but still. My friend is a writer too wont say his name but lets just say its a stressful job

Yeah when I was looking at lnmtl, there are like thousands of comments with people spewing all sorts of nonsense. We need an official translator for those author “tweets”. Do they come from the Chinese publisher’s website directly or is it some kind of Chinese messaging system like twitter?
