Im getting sick of this endless Revenge plot/arc Yun Che could have ended future troubles by killing that burning heaven sect young master or by destroying his dantian.. and now this young master will surely want to avenge until one of them dies.. like ugh!! AGAIN? revenge AGAIN? maybe i read too much xianxia novel which have generic revenge plot or avenge plot cause some young master got offended by MC or wants to bang one of MCs Harem.. sigh what could i do im not the author im just a reader but still it really get on my nerves.. what are your thoughts?
Yeah, there were/are TONS of people that were angry that Juechen was 'saved', which honestly is a really, really stupid decision.
What annoyed me the most was that he said he wouldn't take any chances AND THEN spare him. To me the contradictions are much worse than the actions themselves...
That revenge shouldn't have taken place in the first place though. I'm pretty sure Juechen becomes super powerful as well (just a guess), which means he's either going to cause a huge headache for YC, or his family.
How he gets OP sure was a "coincidence", if he went to the casino he would win the jackpot 5 times in a row, no sweat. Though nothing basically happens after he become OP, we just find out that he's OP and then we don't see him again (up to current raws 587 chapters) so we probably won't even find out what actually becomes of this until at least summer or something. p.s. my personal speculation is that he's going to end up as Yun Che's friend or at least help him out somehow. So while we don't know yet I'm getting extra annoyed because I think there's a fairly high chance that it does happen.
You're talking like ATG has plot other than revenge... If we take that out, all YC would do is cultivate and make babies, kind of what linley did for several thousands of years:/
The entire Xianxia theme is built on the premise of someone being so strong that none dare go against them. If people are afraid of potential revenge, they'll leave you alone. However, the Emperor went from the Sky profound realm to a weakling with a poison. Yun Che is a master of poison, even if the pearl doesn't contain it. Lots of other sects have access to insidious poison that can cripple cultivation or cause death no and harm people even in the higher profound realms. So why don't don't the maids/servants that everyone looks down on and ignores walk around as potential assassins with these powerful poisons and target the powerful people of the sects right before or while they're undergoing closed-door training? It'd be months or years before they're found dead and then those overbearing sects/powers would lose all support. They don't because the author needs a plot. In practical terms, the author doesn't care about self-sufficient people who've had enough of the stupid revenge/overbearing world. Such a plot takes a lot of work to plan and keep straight. They write by the word and want to keep it simple. Same plot, different characters. Rinse-repeat.
Thing is that Yun Che said that he wasn't worried about people getting revenge on himself, he was afraid that they would go against his family (like they had just done) and so he wouldn't take any chances for the sake of their safety.
I highly doubt he'd be YC's friend, and I honestly look down on YC if he befriended him. Spoiler I'm pretty sure Juechen went to the Xiao clan to kill everyone while YC was away. While YC doesn't care about them, this is pretty much an act of war against YC.
He (the guy from Burning Heaven Clan) kinda remind me a little of that one guy from CD who also had a little brother and ascended then became a friend of Linley and then got married and shit, I mean their temperament seems alike hopefully he becomes like that guy. (wonder if anyone recalls his name)
Yeah, I'm worried about this as well... Hopefully it doesn't happen. The only inclination we've had so far is that little aunt had a soft spot for him (basically the beaten wife syndrome) so it's not like there's that high of a chance objectively speaking... But the Author at least seems to be considering it.
Yeah I hear you, got this feeling sometimes too, that's why I stopped MGA, PMG and a few others. ATG until now remained ok but I guess it's bound to be dropped at one point. Too bad there's not more good novel being translated and too many 'fan service' novels as those above. Some of them are really entertaining until the point where you're fed up reading always the same shit. All of those have an expiration date at one point or another. There's still a few good ones around thought like the I eat tomatoes novels (CD, ST, DE, SS, TNC, ...), Duolo Dalu, Ze tian ji, Otherworldly evil monarch, Jewel master change, tales of gods and demons, TMW, etc...
Well, he has already made one baby so far (or more..I dunno if CYC birthed multiple babies). Why the heck does he not have powerful wives???He has provoked so many people. Except for CYC and his first wife, this princess is not capable of protecting herself or his kids.... sigh. and he cant remain with her al the time.I hope the princess continues to become stronger, else i will only consider her a leech
