Using the power of the Saint Priestess they locked the location of the grail and using the power of law to obtain it. The used the Law of Equal Exchange to try to get their hand on the grail. Unfortunately, nothing in their hand can be exchanged with the grail. So, the Saint Priestess presented a crazy idea and that is using the Blessed One as the exchange. At start, no one agreed with her delirious idea but sooner or later almost everyone get convinced by her idea because the Blessed One is the most valuable existence in this world. It is said the Blessed One can defied the heavenly order, so that would mean the Blessed One can surely be exchange with the grail. The king give his authority to the Saint Priestess so that they can complete their grand plan. The Saint Priestess told the masses of the prophesied "In order to survive we need the Blessed One to be found, so that he or she will be able to save all of us from this calamity and one more thing we can only depend on moonlight blessing to get it done. So, the time is short. Please bring all youngster ages 14-17 to the gathering area as soon as possible" After the prophesied were told, every person keep bringing all the youngster they found to the gathering place which has been designated by the Saint Priestess. It is said, the moonlight blessing can only appear one time every decade and if they all missed this time it would be hard to find another one. .................................. During the full moon, all the youngster of age 14-17 was gathered and there were almost 2000 youngster there. The Saint Priestess invoke the power of the moon and the moon blessing shone brightly illuminating the area. The moonlight shone for almost 2 minute and shine on every youngster there. When the light faded out one girl was spotted glowing means she was the Blessed One. Nina Lumiere was chosen as the Blessed One. After the ritual she was taken by the Imperial Soldier to the palace. She was then dressed up as beautifully as possible and then were paraded throughout Atlanta. All the commoner cheer for her and she was brought back to the palace. During the parade, Din Ariecel saw her and immediately recognized her as his savior last time. So, he went to the palace to look for her. Unfortunately for him, the guard won't letting him in at all, no matter how hard he begged them to enter. He then thought to give up and return back home when he heard some of the guard talking among them. "This Blessed One is so pitiable isn't it?" He also taken explosion vial, smokescreen vial, sulphic vial and healing vial. When his eye fall to the rune his father leave to him, he keep staring at it and then he tied the rune as a necklace to wear. That night, he stand in front of castle wall and activated his power of law which he has comprehended, the Law of Dimension. Using his law power he can blink for a short distance thus allowing him to infiltrate the castle without alarming anyone. Unfortunately, there is a limit to how many time he can use the power unless he can become full fledged mage like his father. He keep searching the whereabouts of his savior but to no avail. When he's about to give up, suddenly he saw a patch of moonlight shining in front of him and it keep shining till it reached a locked warehouse. Watching the strange scene before him, he doesn't hesitate at all and rush toward the warehouse. He smashed the door and enter the warehouse to find inside an underground passageway. Without fearing any consequence he just run as fast as he can to the end of the underground passage. There, he saw the girl tied up on altar. His sudden appearance shocked the crowd inside. They stopped for a while and staring at him in confusion. Noticing his chance he took all the vial explosion vial he had and throw it to the crowd after that he run toward the altar to the girl. -BOOM- -BOOM- The explosion caused the crowd to be injured and some of them died. The Saint Priestess got thrown by the explosion while most of imperial guard were just lightly injured which show their defensive power. Seeing the scene the king got mad and he ordered his knight to catch the boy who interrupted them. When he reach her, he quickly try to untied the rope, he tried his hardest to untied it but failed. The knights which were moving toward him laughed when they see the scene. "Such a foolish one, do you think the power of law can be easily broken" Hearing what the knight said, Din face show his hopelessness. Just like the knight said power of law can only be broken by another power of law and he didn't any law suitable to use to release her. No, that's not it, even though it can be cancelled using power of law he can still use other method too. He take out the sulphic vial and spread the liquid using his hand to the rope which tied the girl. Sulphic vial is corrosive substance, it will corrode anything it touches, by using his hand to smear the rope with the vial, his hand was corroded. .................. The sound of explosion have woken her up. The moment Nina Lumiere open her eyes she could see she was tied on the altar. Below her, she could see the victim of the explosion vial. Then she saw someone that looked familiar to her. That guy rushed up to the altar and tried to untied hr rope but to no avail. Then she heard the knight which follow after him mocking and laughing at him. After that, she saw the hopelessness in the man face but it didn't stay long. The man taken out a green vial which he pour into his hand and then he smear it to the rope which tied her which then corroded. -Sssssshhhhhhh- -Sssssssshhhhhh- The sound didn't disappear even after the rope has corroded, it seem like his hand also was corroded by the viscous liquid. "Why? Why?" Her mind become a mess. She already know what they would do to her and didn't even know how she could escape. Then in her hopeless situation this man appear, she remember the man which she save in a slum. During that time, because he look so pitiful she decided to help him but now it seem like this guy is trying his best to save her now. How ironic fate is. ................... In Din Ariecel mind, he's suffering from the corrosive effect and it is so painful that he wanna cry but in order to act cool in front of her he suppress his pain in his heart. The boy is nowhere to be seen now and in his place stood a being which resemble the demon. The Saint Priestess were shocked by the situation, the king also shocked his mouth wide open by the sudden situation the exchanged were halted all of them silently staring wide eyed toward the demon which appeared there. "Hahaha, I have return! All of you, shall die for my awakening ceremony!" The demon finish saying that, he then roared toward the sky. -Roarrrrrgghhhhh- After that all living being in the underground chamber collapsed except one girl. .......... Seeing the man who risk his live to save her changed into demon, tears began to flow from her eyes. At that moment, the power of moonlight inside her activated and she was able to saw the contract bound by the demonic power. After contemplating it for a bit, she resolved herself. "If the price for saving me is turning yourself into a demon, then I prefer not to be saved." After the shouting, she use the moonlight power to activated the equivalent exchange and Nina Lumiere is no longer there. Seeing her disappear in front of him, the demonic power began to rampage and till it reached a point where the demon turn back into a human but with a purple colored jewel embed in his chest. By failing to fulfill the contract the demon is sealed again and the human Din Ariecel is returned back to normal.He scanned his body and found out he was full of raging magical power. It seem that the demon power has been absorbed by his body. He then walked toward the magical circle and then he activated the circle using his new power. "If you are still alive, I shall find you and save you just like how you saved me here. If not we will both die together." After that, the magic circle lit brightly and then it become dimmer and dimmer till no light appear from it. The altar then was empty void of any being.
