what do you mean by going to deep shit? as far as i know our world already in deep shit, corrupt politicians, religion extremist,terrorist and criminals, even earth give us shit like global warming (okay thats actually our fault to). but in my opinion what can be worse than our world now?(except all porn deleted from Internet, that would be a real deep shit)
Calamities are the same as hundred if not thousand years ago. The difference is the publicity and the spread of information and as the civilization are widespread then natural calamities have higher chance of hitting civilization. Plus the tendency of media to report bad things and inflate it for ratings. i am hoping space exploration start. I know, if we could terraform a planet then we could undo the damge to earth but we have to practice the technology somewhere and i don't think anyone would want to test it on earth , Haydron Collider is enough to get people gitty then testing a terraformer on earth would cause worldwide riot.
It would be good to take note that newspaper isn't a super reliable indicator of the situation. War- From 2000 onward has been an all-time low in death total caused by war per decade, though Syria isn't helping anything. Terrorism- While deaths everywhere caused by terrorism have increased due to ISIS, a lot of that is overlap with the above, and most countries are not feeling the brunt of it. Poverty- Global and average wealth has done nothing but increase, starvation and 'absolute poor' rates appear to be at an all-time low, with proportions steadily dropping to 16% as opposed to 37% since 1970. Global Warming- No comment here, depending on whether the effects are being hyped up or not, we're screwed. At least most of Russia will become livable at some point?
The world is how it is reflected from my own mind. I once hold such feelings that the world is full of desperation, suffocation, anger. But they are just reflected from my own feelings that my life has been in a rut, dead-end, inescapable. After being freed from unsuitable career path to follow my calling, I rediscovered that this world is large and free, full of possibilities, wonders and kindness. Yes, especially kindness. Others' kindness to accept who I am, even if I am not what they expected. My own kindness to forgive them putting me through heartbreaks and sufferings because of their one-sided expectations. Just try doing what I really want but never have the chance (AI and robotics). Finding the current advancements of the fields, I find myself part of great currents of our time, what humanity has achíeved, what we are striving to achieve next. An endless horizon before me. I have firm belief that most humanity ailments come from the scarcity of resources. It was worse in the past, it's gotten better now and will continue so. I dislike the fact that other opportunists (e.g. politicians) take advantage of my heart's unease in order to sell the fire-and-brimstones apocalyptic vision that do nothing for progresses but incite hatred and unrest. Indeed, I need to look no further for the cause (beside of my own weak heart) of such imminent apocalyptic atmosphere. Those people will seize more power from hatred and fear will use it in a way to solidify this loop. There is no benefits for them to solve the causes anyway *shrug*. <By definition, *politics* is to solve human conflicts, not the causes of such conflicts. The role of solving the roots of problems is for other professions>
I just hoping I am dead b4 the world goes completely to shit. Hopefully no one causes a huge world war b4 we are all done with our novels and animes. I swear if someone puts japan or korea or china into a war I flip a table in anger. Only ones I am worry about mostly is Korea with north Korea and China next to russia(not saying they would fight russia but one word : Putin). I do not want those 3 countries to be at war would affect my damn reading gdi.

The issue is [this nonsense] A lot of people get fed news that the world is going to hell in a hand basket when it's never been "better" (overall). Sure it's got issues, but the brighter the world gets as a whole, the uglier and nastier the dark spots look in comparison.
