Those who'd find yanderes hot should find this hot, too (only in a fictional setting, ofc, or I'd suspect the heat muddled their brain).

 

Ugh... I can only imagine that down the road, when I'm about to use ATM and talk with the security guard, who happens to be a male, the ML will come trudging towards me demanding an explanation to my infidelity.

 

Bold of you to assume you'd be let out of the house in the first place...

Honestly, I was just confused reading this. And it sounds a lil on the cringy side—the hypothetical thinking in particular. I find the more decisive way of thinking better suited for male yanderes. Well, for most male characters too.

Personally, I like the idea of yanderes as villains or reformed villains by the end of the novel if they happen to be the male lead. The obsession and possessiveness can be hot, but once they cross a certain line, it turns into an annoying psycho-stalker situation. And also, if the yandere is hot, then it's hot lol. It's the universal truth. Just don't base your relationship expectations on those types of characters -_-.

 

what's your definition of crossing the line? Does the above count?

 

Like breaking the MC's legs at the most extreme. Or chaining them. Or imprisoning them. Or alienating them from any close friends and relatives. Absolutely not allowing any time apart from each other. You know, annoying and controlling crap like that.

It's in no way, shape or form hot. It's actually quite gross. The hot kind of possessiveness is the one that is shown in response to actual external threats. Like let's say she gets hurt, it'd be hot for him to go and avenge her. But getting jealous of her father is unhealthy af and I'm concerned for this fictional woman. XD
