    The novel "I Fell in Love With the Villainess" or, "Akuyaku Reijo Ni Koi Wo Shite" has been dropped. It is a great novel and I really enjoy it. The problem is: it was dropped because the translator contacted the author and the author asked him to stop. So am I just out of luck here? Or is there a chance somebody would be willing to pick it up?

    nah it seem like there are some cloudy parts in the term with the author so they deleted the post

    1. You can't warn people if you have no authority
    2. You don't need to type in all caps or use red lettering
    3. I believe the author reconsidered and translation will start up again, even if he reconsiders again it doesn't really matter. What we do in the community is largely illegal anyways, I don't really see a need to stop translating unless it actually WILL affect the author from being published. (Which it might....but rarely does. I think I've heard of it happening maybe once or twice)

    :/ yeah sorry bout that I kind of raged when thinking that people dont respect the author at all when he had already said no.


    and it's not confirmed yet that the translation will start again there are some cloudy parts in their argreement so they are discussing it with the author

    They do, but they also want to see some reward for their efforts. How many times can you actually claim that you went out and bought the untranslated version just because you liked the translated version? And no, I don't want an answer to that question. You know the answer, it's up to you whether you feel pride or guilt over it.
