214 to 218 is not a skip, I just changed how the chapter numbers are calculated
The previous translator skipped side stories so the chapter numbers do not match the Syosetu url

Most likely it is the author being inconsistent with the story length but website was down today and pages and parts of chapters were missing.
It has been fixed now

 

i hope he is not tiring from writing the story though shortening chapters are the first signs that an author is becoming frutrated and thinking of divorce send him a consultant or something NOW!

The author must be probably prioritizing working on the LN. At least, unlike a lot of others, the author hasn't dropped or erased the webnovel as soon as the LN version has been announced, so I'm happy with what we've got for the moment

True, I thought it would have been better to use countess Elize cause you know with her impaling people on a stake like Vlad the impaler who is also the person based on to be count Dracula~

 

It has been consistently called Earl so it was kept as with the previous translations.
I will make a poll and see if readers want the female equivalent of Countess to be used
