Is there a way to change the title for certain novels on your reading list for personal use? I've added a few recently which are Japanese titles and I can never remember which is which.

None that I know of. You can create a separate list for JPs and there's also the Edit Notes where you can put the alias, description, and tags.

    This.

AIUI the notes & tags are searchable, so just put whatever alias(es) you want in as tags, & you can search it later.
