In novel , manga anime ect we have character so selfless usually main character that they wouldn't think any second to trade their life for a stranger or an ennemy or in shojo you have the heroine who can't say no and who whould make thing that other people should do without being credited etc or main character who easily forgive other people who hurt them or novel when sheltered mc take all the sin for herself and want to be punnished because mc was clueless at he/her family sin etc.

Oh, I think I dropped that one because I didn’t like the male lead... but I don’t quite remember.

 

My point is that with all that saintful , selfless protagonist i feel like a shitty human being sometimes

 

No one is perfect except those with the power of plot

 

MC was used like a pawn by her lover who was a spy for the revolutionary because her family or feodal lord was sinful and treated the communier horribly. So he was the responsable for her family downfall and for her death and her family death . But she hold no grudge against him for all his lies and is just full of guilt because she was a clueless , sheltered , innocent girl who doesn't realize before it was too late that her family was doing bad thing so in the second life she just want to atone for her family sin even if she haven't done anything.

It's this have romance i can read bl/yuri/hetero novel etc but i avoid those with no love.
