I started randomly thinking about something in Youjo Senki and later when I was scrolling through mangadex I found that there has been a new chapter of Youjo Senki released today after months! I was listening to Flower Duet and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun popped up into my mind cause one of the characters there sing opera, but I have been continuously listening to Flower Duet for the last couple of days and today, the day I think about the manga, I go and find there also being an update to it after MONTHS! Happened many times before too but today it happened twice. How? Did I scroll over them on another site (since I use some sites other than mangadex too for the mangas that aren't on mangadex) and didn't recognize the cover they were using so it just left an impression on my subconsciousness? This has happened way too many times in the past to be a coincidence. Does this happen to you?

yes, it does, but compared to times when i think about them, check up and nothin got updated it is way way less also both the mangas you mentioned were updated at least once a month regularily while youjo senki had a 1 month pause some sides also list them with different names/pics which you will still associate with others subconsciously
Yes, happens to me often. For the times it isn't updated when I check, 1/3 of the time it gets updated within the next few days. Another smaller percent of the time, the day I thought of it was the day a scanlation group picked it up, or within a week of that happening.
