As noted above. I am looking for something with back courtyard schemes/potential court politics. Mainly something along the lines of To Be A Virtuous Wife, Eight Treasures Trousseau, Like Pearl and Jade, or the Job of an Imperial Concubine. Others that I've already read/know of: Chu Wang Fei, The Princess Weiyang, Chongfei Manual, Mei Gongqing, Doomed to be Cannonfodder... etc. I prefer something not excessively stressful to read.

Read everything from the author who wrote: The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage Rebirth of a Star General Marriage of the Di Daughter The Rebirth of the Ill-Fated Consort I’d like to add a personal favourite Divine Doctor: Daughter of the First Wife All the FMCs above are extremely scheming, revenge is satisfying, MLs are great and supportive. MTL is easy to read and most importantly stress free haha. For the Dreamer of Spring Boudoir, I personally find that story a little painful to read. The translation is great, the premise is great but I just wish MC could catch a break. I didn’t finish the novel after a particular arc so I guess my opinion is bias. However it does focuses on courtyard drama and messy politics and how the FMC gets tangled up. There’s a lot of mixed reviews on it, so you’d only know if you like it once you tried reading it.
Yeah I agree I remember finding dreamer to be kinda stressful, I dropped it because i was getting anxiety lol. i will take a look at the recommendations!
