I thought the ox said fatty is fine if Wentian does the trial thing twice. Also, personally, I thought him attacking the brother was a good idea. Though, more for the fact that he would use it to draw the older brother back instead of out right kill. Though an outright kill works too, if it got the attention as well.
The ox said he would consider sparing the fatty if he passed the second test. There's also all his other friends as well. No asking how they're doing Whatever the reason I'm glad the guy is dead. Didn't like how he got saved at the last second the first time they tried to kill him~
This is going to get a little tiresome if some arrogant guys show up to compete with Qin for the marriage. I mean you can just sense it coming but....
Are the any spoilers that Bai Qing's apparent feelings ever get reciprocated? It seems kind of hopeless. Please use a spoiler tag if you know something.
is this novel early romance (romance starts early DUH), or late romance (romance with the heroine starts after 200-500 chapters)???
It's slow in the beginning with just a tinge of romance. But it has gathered momentum to the point where the MC is getting married in the current chapters. I think it is well done. In your 200-500 scenario it leans more towards that.
It's mostly tragedy upon tragedy and getting torn apart from each other for the first like 500 or something though, apart from a few sweet moments. Assuming it doesn't do the same after this point, i'd say this is where it really starts to be romance oriented.
It is crazy to me that Autumn Snow can't tell her fiance who MC is. She knows he won the biggest tournament, and single-handedly attacked and almost destroyed that Pill Sect. And that was years ago. Who knows how far his strength has reached or what his background is now. But it is at least something that her fiance can't compete with. Yet she doesn't warn him?
Can anyone who can read the raws post a spoiler tag with whether there is any development with Bai Qing yet? It seems to be an unrequited love right now.
What novels aren't like this though? Meet an arrogant young master and teach him a lesson. Antagonize some person or people and wipe them out. Enter some test or trial and prevail. Rinse and repeat.
