Some of you have already read some of his works?
I really like "Until-death" and I started "body and soul"

it is pretty cookie cutter across all their writing they follow a VERY specific formula for whatever type of story they are writing which really hurts and takes away from certain genres and well is bland.

to quote a review on beyond that summarizes most of his novels really " MC deals with most problems by snaping his fingers and flexing his super magic powers. The characters have little depth and personality, I don't think much thought was put into them. However we do find out how most of the girls rank in boob size." now dont get me wrong i dont mind an op protag but atleast put in some kind of challange for them or something else thats interesting

He gets recommended a lot around here. To hear it from the grapevine, he's basically, like, uh, the best thing ever, uh, y'know?

Personally, I only ever tried one of his novels and couldn't get into it.

I understand your point of view to both of them ~
What I like a lot in his stories is mainly "the background" originally planned, as in "Body and Soul". The Mc does not win, even if he quickly solves the problem (less good on this side than Until death)

    Hm~
I see, so it's not at all an unknown author ... * embarassed smile *

I, for one, really enjoy his stories. Sure, most of them follow similar storylines and have (the exact same) characters, but I don't hate that.
The concepts of the worlds are varied enough to be enjoyed and I do believe its to be expected that a bunch of immortal reincarnators/gods are very OP.

I do recommend them for anyone wanting to just binge read some fun stories without too much drama.

    With out drama... ?
The first paragraph of "body and soul" is a rape of mc ...
And that of "Until death" the tragic death of the MC ~

I enjoy his stories, but are all very similar in some way. They do all share a connection in some way so i guess it make sense. If you like some other stories to read by different authors, i can recommend a few on rrl. Wandering Inn, Legend of ghosthound, new World

I tried reading one of his novels and found the mc annoying with the constant depressed vibe when he wasn't losing his mind in battle... I didn't think the world building or story was bad just the mc killed my interest.

I'm not certain how that works... I'm just not into overly depressed mc's since I read to take a break and have fun.

I believe most are western writers. It sounds like its you only recently found rrl. The thing with rrl is that a lot of stories are eventually dropped but the ones that i mentioned and andurr do a good job with continuing their stories. Wattpad is another one that people use, but i dont really read on it.

I know, and there's a miscarriage thrown in somewhere as well. But what I mean is that the overall stories tend to be more upbeat than downbeat.

And while I do agree with your point regarding the death and r*pe, I tend to view those as "start drama" as in, relevant to the story and an explanation why an MC acts as he does, but not a direct turn-off for the overall story.

Example (not Andurr, but anyway). I absolutely, ABSOLUTELY, abhor and detest NTR (against MC or close friends. Netori I somehow don't mind). Therefore, even if a story is superbly wel written, if NTR is present, I will likely drop it just for that. EXCEPT! If the NTRing of the MC happens in the first chapter, thereby becoming the "starting drama". I accept the starting drama, keep it mind during the story, but won't let it negatively affect my experience.
