Hi! I'm looking for a novel that has angst for the FL coming from the ML. If possible here are some conditions, although they're not necessary as long as it makes me cry haha. - I like ancient Chinese novels because of the Imperial Harems and all the scheming. - The ML has to be a real jerk (in Princess Consort is no Pushover he flogs her because of a mistake) - He hates the FL and wants nothing to do with her. (Slow burn kinda things, I really enjoy enemies to lovers) - If FL goes through something traumatic she has to have a reaction, I really dislike it when they kind of forget about it. - I myself don't need any grovel. Anyways! These are some things I could think of, again, as long as it has angst I'm fine. Please no BL or GL!! I've already read novels by Mo Wu Bi Ge, The Dreamer in the Spring Boudoir, mysteries in the Imperial Harem... I've also read KN novels but they don't completely satisfy my angst (def how to get my husband on my side)

I hope you like it. In that one, the MC is pregnant. ML mistakenly believes it is this other guy's baby, but it's his. ML loves MC anyways. There's a bit of angst because of this, of course.
