Anime recommendations

Haven't watched anime for quite awhile and have been only reading mangas and novels in that time. I'm looking for I guess something more adult like. Not really interested in watching something about high school kids. If it I want them to age over the story. As far as novels I like, been liking the general top xianxia novels such as coiling dragon, atg, issth, and so on. I did watch the new one punch man episodes, but that's it for new stuff in like 7 years or so. Thanks in advance.

 

Death Note, Monster, Hunter x Hunter (2011), and Hellsing Ultimate these are some of my favourite anime not sure if you have watched them or not.

 

It there any specific genres you're looking for? Both ANN and MAL (click advanced search) have fairly decent search features where you can sort by genre/rating/date.

Jormungand is nice. i don't really watch super serious anime like psycho pass, mine collection are mostly comedy.

Do you have an opinion on the second season?

Same question. I thought the first season was great, and them the second season started off well but went downhill really quickly coming up to the end. It was still enjoyable though.

Have you read the manga? I really enjoyed the anime though, well, the ending maybe not so much

 

@AicilaXI xi, yes, I've read it, not completly but I've read it. Another anime that I've liked was Yu Yu Hakusho. Also, I think there's an anime made aftrr the manga Silver spoon.

I think second 2 was badly done they should of went with the manga instead of changing the anime lol they even went as far as to say that the author gave them the rights to do so when it was all b.s

Kingdom, it's one of the last mangas I'm excited about these days.

It's about a youth who wants to become the greatest general under the heaven during ancient China's waring states period.
He gets caught in a civil war where he helps the king and then he enters the army as a simple soldier and he has to become stronger and climb up the ranks by gaining achievements during bloody battles involving hundreds of thousands soldiers.

You've got plenty of episodes and the anime follows the manga quite closely.
