    You can get Studio Ghibli videos at Walmart. You can stream 'One Punch Man' with subs. It's practically mainstream.

    WHY HAS NO ONE RECOMMENDED FULL METAL ALCHEMIST BROTHERHOOD!!!

    On another note, if you're gonna go live action stuff, I'd recommend
    Kamen rider black and black rx to start
    Ruroni kenshin (12 year only but up to you)

    Anime on the other had
    FMAB!

    Truthfully, start with what you like and pick and choose from there.

    Marry and the Witch's flower. This is a more recent movie with great animation. The voice acting is great and of course, it has magic.

    That's gore with violence. I don't know how you got violence = death. Violence alone means harmful scenes without death, but just pain and more pain. Another (the anime) is gore in the initial death scenes but not violence since no one is the cause of such a tragedy or death, except in the later death scenes where violence does happen with gore and death as the result.

    Try showing them a movie first, like brave story for boys and little witch academia for girls. If they like the movie then introduce them to anime.

    I can recommend Hayate the combat butler since it pretty much brought me to being an Otaku. OPM can make kids get hooked to interesting animes. Digimon and Pokemon are the safe bets while Izuma Eleven for kids who like sports(even if its something fantasy like).
