Naruto is the start of my anime obsession. I accidentally saw an episode on tv 12 years ago. It was the scene where Saske kun got stabbed by countless needles trying to protect Naruto. Then Naruto went apeshit to get revenge for Saske kun. That scene make my blood boiling and giving me goosebumps all over.

Gintama taught me about life. I swear the quotes from Sorachi can be inspirational af sometime.

Barakamon taught me about how we become trash when we grow up and we should be like a child and enjoy life more.

Yugioh. I was soo obsessed with this anime, I spent all of my school allowance on children trading card game. I only stopped collecting the cards after I graduated from college.

.hack made me recognise my weaboo ways, but it was a great show and an even greater game. Personally it's in my top 10.

Cowboy Bebop and Wolf's Rain was awesome.

Escaflowne was a gem for me. Also a strange entry for me would be Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou, this one was a really heartfelt one accept the anime didn't really finish up properly.

Wow reading through these comments got me thinking about D.gray man, Pandora hearts full metal alchemists somehow both along with one piece made my childhood. Watched Naruto but was took into sonic at the time and they ran the same so it became a blur.

Someone once asked me what was a good introduction into the anime world. I told them Clannad. The day after they started watching, they - with red eyes that was supposedly from lack of sleep - were hooked (atleast one of them was) and never asked me for a recommendation again.

    good times, gooood times.

'5cm per second' hit me the hardest and at the time when someone I loved for so long has gotten married. Other memorable animes for me are clannad, kimi ga nozomu ein, Ichigo 100%(edit: not sure if it was the manga or the anime), spice and wolf, macross f, phantom: requiem for phantom and the girl who leapt through time. I forgot about the anime "Suzuka" a bitter sweet love story that got me hooked when I was a teen.
