reiji already lose to another one, cant remember if was another god or just a monster, and rena's brother play with him and he cant do anything.

so reiji is strong already but I dont think with the strenght he had on begining is enought to defeat modos and I really remember the condition about reiji summoning but this wasn rena who said to them?(I really like the novel but hate reiji so its a bit hard to re-read and see everything he made again, you remember the ch about the conditions about his summoning?)

 

You all missing the point here.
Rena need a pawn to do her bidding because the gods rejected to help her kill Modes and she can discard them of she didn't need them anymore so Rena didn't just summon Reiji, she summon Reiji and his harem but he's the only one stupid enough to agree unconditionally and the harem just roll with it. And it proof otherworld summoning is stronger or as par of gods and the gods for some reason can't actively kill them that's why she didn't mind to discarding Shironoe in the first arc because she has already has the strongest pawn in her palm.

 

Rena wants to kill Modes and no god will help, either because they are friends with him or scared of him. Rena talked to a goddess of fate and she said someone summoned from another world will kill modes. She summoned Reiji and co. to kill Modes, and after that exile them to another world. Reiji is stronger than what she thought and can even use magic that only the king of gods can use. So Rena didn´t care about them before but they are too strong for her to just kill.

 

No because he takes no shit. Why because hes the GODDAMN bat....Dark knight that's why.

 

They were planning to torture him? It also seems like they've tortured before. These people really aren't heroes, more like tools. I think instead of a Goddess he should make Glorious (the drag) into a waifu though, lol.

Yep. I liked the ending, and seriously had the MC been serious against the Hero party from the beguining he would have winned or at least crippled the hole party.
