is there an English word more apt to describe the shift or state from having never killed another human to have? innocence is a general word for crime afaik and using killing virginity seems funny. specifically for murder? or is there none? Edit for context: the sentence is about an older adventurer speaking to the MC who gets stunned after he killed a bandit disguised as a strawman (a type of monster in the story). he's killed monsters before but never a man. something along "don't forget this moment you lost your 'killing virginity?'...." and then some more about human life and whatnot. any suggestion?
What's the context of the killing? Are you talking murder as in like a serial killer or in the process of a bank robbery kind of thing?
Became a killer Also, "hands became stained in blood" describes when one goes from not having killed someone to having killed someone. There's also "I now have his blood on my hands" when going through emotional fallout due to having killed someone. https://www.collinsdictionary.com/us/amp/english/blood-on-ones-hands

"Don Carlione said that jimmy dropped his skittle ya know? broke his lawn chair, got ketchup bun ya know? i never expected that from him...." i love those
honestly that's kinda weird, i mean no one forget their first time (unless they are drunk) i would suggest against stating the obvious (skip the foreplay) and get to the point if you really want to mention it you should chose depending on the character, you can't have a man in a fancy suit say "ya bitch done and popped yer cherry" but he can say "so, young man, how does your first kill feel?"
