Hi! Recently, I have had a problem finding new BL novels on this site. When I ask for recommendations, the old titles appear again and again. I feel like there's nothing new for me to find on this site at the moment. So I was wondering if there are any chinese forums, where I could ask recommendations for untranslated danmei novels. Thank you for the link, but I am looking for a forum where I can ask chinese speaking ladies for specific novels recommendations, tailored for my preferences and favorite tropes. I have been looking for the novels with specific genre for a long time, but nobody was able to recommend me anything new here.
if you can read/ write Mandarin than you could look on one of the actual Chinese novel sites like jjwxc, since they have their own forums. if you need an English speaker who understands Mandarin than yes, Twitter, or you might try your luck at Reddit. I usually use the advanced search option on the website itself and hope google translate isn't too far off. it works for genres but not necessarily for specific tags.
Thank you for your reply! I can read in chinese, but I can't speak fluently yet... my written chinese is even worse, than my English. But, well, if there's a possibility to get decent recs, I will try my best to express my thoughts as accurately as possible, and hope I will be understood. So, you mentioned jjwxc has a forum? Can you ask for recs there?
I've seen the option there but I haven't used it so i don't know. my written Mandarin is really bad so I've never tried. I mostly find stuff to read through the search option and a lot of trial and error.
