So lets talk about movies which we just can't finish watching- Be it becasue of time constraints, content, dialogues, acting, mood, luck or anything else. For me it is Carnage(2011). I have been trying to finish watching it for the past (many) years, and still have only seen the first 40 minutes of it. It's not a bad movie. Not one with a terrible plot. Its just thta it makes me cringe, especially, Jodie Foster. This lady acted like a squirell on an energy drink. Man everytime she spoke I squinted as if I was watching a drama based on my miserable life. I have had this movie in my Pc since 2014, but i just can't watch it all. And i have tried watching it a good amount of time over the years, months and weeks. Well, this is the one movie which has been caught in my roots for a million years. What's your's?
For me is more of tv shows and games where I watch or play the first few hours and I just lose motivation to continue playing or watching even though I enjoyed it. This is not the case for novels tho... so I doubt is an attention span issue.
there are plenty of movies I just can't finish watching, be it some of the new superhero movies, star wars or just plain stupid comedy/drama that is straight up bs in my eyes they bore me to death more than a chinese author repeating one thing in one chapter over ten times not just because of overexposure, since I don't watch more than a movie per week, but because of overuse of the same schematic, boring convos and no essence if you know what I mean
I can’t watch the longest most meaningless movie in the world .... it’s 48 hours long and it’s a strange “art” film made from outtakes commercials and stock footage
Robin Hood (2018) - 2/10 A convoluted and anachronistic take on the classic story with weak jokes, poor characterization and mediocre special effects. The modern style to the action scenes adds a new flair to the events, but like the humour, doesn’t really work in the historical setting. The story and acting is ok, but the film goes on for too long and characters are inconsistent. Boring more than entertaining...
Superman vs Batman and Logan. I figured they were both not worth watching 20min in but decided to give them a chance, another 20min and I just couldn't take anymore.
I watched it yesterday, I regretted watching it as what you've said the characters are very inconsistent and it feels like some things are forced into it. That girl is a massive thot to be sure...
Seems like you need to see a quality Robin Hood movie... Go to your library and get Robin Hood: Men in Tights!
The Sound of a Flower (2015) I just can't watch it. I tried it at least three times, but I always gave up after a half an hour. I just can't stand historical korean movies. And the female protagonist is so irritating. Byousoku 5 Centimeter (2007) It's the well known anime movie that a lot of people love and admire. I just find it boring and too slow. I tried it, I really tried to watch it, but after five times of trying I just gave up. Plus I don't find Shinkai Makoto's works so fantastic.
I don't know why but everytime i watch drama... i just can't finish it Like : 40 episode and i just watch for 30 ep Hmmmm
Basically any Italian movie, Life is Beautiful is a great but any other movie from Italy that I tried to watch is just... disappointing.
Anything related to animal abuse would have me turning the TV off. Weirdly enough I could handle humans getting tortured, but never animals.
