I already asked this question a few weeks ago and read some of the recs. I felt that they weren't similar at all. I'm looking for a novel specifically where the MC can CREATE skills. Is there anything else like that on NU?

I considered that for a time but I hate the author's other work (Everyone Else is a Returnee)

    Already reading it!

The mc is less romantically retarded in this one (tho still partially thick) and I find the overall storyline more enjoyable. If it is the story type (pretty much earth becoming a swords and magic world) then unlucky for you

The fantasy aspect in a modern world wasn't what turned me off. It was the countless one-liner side characters that clamped themselves to the MC. That and the repetitive grindfest that Returnee devolved into made me lose all interest. I cannot imagine an author of this caliber writing anything even partially interesting. At least not in the long term.
