Recommendations Any novels where someone transmigrates with the original host still there

This has been bugging me

Are there any novels where someone transmigrates but the original host is still there? Like the two of them occupies the same body. It could be that the og is still there but can’t control their body only the transmigrator or the transmigrator can’t control the body only the og. If so the two of them should interact with each other maybe in a dream but the two are there for majority of the novel. It can include romance or no romance.
Also I’ve heard of one where the og and the transmigrator fight each other for occupying the body. Can someone tell me the name and any other novels like it?
Okay the top was confusing but basically I want a novel or manga where the transmigrator and original host interact and the og isn’t just a throw away character.

No. Someone has to have died or left their body and woke up in a different person’s body. But the key difference is the person’s whose body they took over is still in the novel and they shouldn’t be in the background. Maybe I should change the word original host

1000% one of the best application of this trope I've ever seen. The MC doesn't get romantically involved with anyone in the worlds, and the original host being present is like... actually plot relevant. I recommend it for sure.

 

Yes there are, like for example: Haunted Duke’s Daughter

They pretty much posses same body but only original host can control it. They do share their senses like taste and etc.

 

I only know The Way the mage faces death (manhwa and btw, not sure if this has a novel version). The MC took over the body of a young lady while the original owner possess the body of her pet.

 

If you're ok with raw, then I'd recommend the short story 东方不败之吾心 by 凡*******唱. I think the second or third chapter is about the gong mc loosing control over his body for a while because of transmigrators.

(Frey) the original soul still lingers inside his body, when (Ryo) the transmigrated soul transfer to the body, the early chapter starts with transmigrated soul dominant with the original soul taking a few turns in between. Since he got a new name both souls sorta blend into one and in mid of the story they no longer refer to themself as either Frey or Ryo because those people are dead anyway, he refers to himself as Rion with new life to live (like Vegito in dragon ball refers himself as Vegito not goku or vegeta).
Prepare a lot of kleenex/tissue in mid of the story because it's sad.
