I just saw Gravity Tales has a new novel called The Lord's Empire. It sounds interesting and I may read it later. Anybody know how good it is? How is his family situation. Does the mc have a cute little sister or anything?

More like VR, since it has stats, "being in another world but not really" his body remains on Earth and world mechanics that would be reatarded in any norma functioning universe, no death though you have severe death penalties. Current start is somwhat similar to The World Online, major difference being he seems to be on his own and no knowledge about future events to help him out and no convenient system shop/teleporting so far. (chapter 3)

This reminds me of another story, with a similar premise. Where the MC at the beginning of the series gets surrounded by others like himeself, kills himself and uses his special ability for being a lord to go back and start over. So with future knowledge he goes to one of the places which would guarantee him Lord class and he gets a flying kingdom this time and each kingdom comes with a manager. Last time his manager was like a male butler but this time it's a female. Can't remember the name of it the novel though.
Chapter 5 mentioned how all the big rich families are already moving resources into the world, so it will likely be a thing. (I.e buying in-game(world?) currency with earth money) Okay, so this world is not just humans and wild-life. It has magic beasts and fantasy creatures so far spotted are Elite magic beast, the Violent Flame Rabbit, and goblins. Killing things has a loot drop, though they did mention hunting wolfs,rabbits etc for food so maybe just for magical beasties.
If it sticks with historical stuff and he becomes an Emperor, the Imperial Harem might be a thing. But from what I've read so far I can't give you anything concrete (chap 7) Seems to have no family or at least alienated, some hatred towards his Fathers lineage. Introvert with no real social life and no one in the special world.

I'll try to answer your questions, though it might take a while (and please note, I haven't read too far ahead, so I won't be able to confirm some things). 1. There are no little sisters (yet, at least - I'm speculating it might be a possibility in future) 2. I would say it's a mix of isekai and VR, as it's an actual world, but the MC and others go between that world and the real world (and it's said that the alternate world will 'devour' the real world in the future) 3. Penalties are indeed quite severe 4. There are arrogant young masters, as does pretty much any novel, but they're not a main focus. 5. No romance as of yet but I'm speculating some romance soon-ish and possible harem
