I don't drive, have no real need to or desire since transportation costs me about $10 to $20 bucks a month (basically 1-2 taxi's on average for bulky groceries a month). I've always assumed I'd be a poor easily distracted driver anyway so never got a licence beyond the ID level. But this shit fascinates me some nights. You slowly start to anticipate and figure out who's going to be really stupid.
Likely nothing similar to your condition but I've always wondered how common the following was: I used to think I had motion sickness from being sick in cars and buses as a kid, but what I eventually realized was I can't handle temperature differences across my body. In my 30's I'd get nauseous on the city bus if I was cold on one side while the window heater was pumping out heat. Started sitting away from AC and heater vents in vehicles and been fine ever since. Looking back at being sick during car trips as a kid with parents who smoked I'd open the window and be freezing on one side and slowly feel sicker as the trip went on.
There was a Korean show called Men in Black Box. Black box is the equivalence of dash cam. The concept of the show is to inform viewers on driver rights and what percentage of liability does each person/insurance should receive. I stopped watching since the subtitles stopped but the first couple episodes is very fascinating to watch and learn.

Look for cross country trucking one. There's that one channel that show off his scania truck driving cross country in YT if I'm not wrong. Yeah, driving cross country when you're not pressed on time can be really relaxing. Having your ear and cheek caressed by the winds while you're looking ahead following the road can really make you forget about the time.
