So, I was watching Konosuba clips on YouTube, and realised in the anime Aqua is the best character to get the laughs but later on in the LN Megumin is the best girl or if you want ecchi stuff Darkness is the best. So which do you prefer?
I know people hate Aqua but she is by far best girl. The way she undo random curses and act like they aren't a big deal is funny.
I'm changing my vote! My vote goes to Iris. My second choice is harem with Megumin, Darkness, Yunyun, Iris and Chris/Eris. Aqua is so fricking annoying.
Honestly, I tend to ignore the reality of romantic interests in Konosuba, because it just doesn't feel right. I can't explain properly, but somehow with all this shit Kazuma has to put up with; a serious romance in the light novel would make the overall situation too awkward, not that it already is, thanks to Darkness rape attempt and Aqua... being Aqua. On a serious note, Kazuma should really get cured of his cock-block status condition. I'm starting to believe fate will never allow him to get-on with his current partner.
I added harem option for you. But come-on Aqua is sooooo funny with her antics, maybe not in the harem but she is definitely the funniest. Actually my original question was not about romance but some people just want harem anyway......lol. But I disagree with your point that romance will make it awkward, till the latest volume story has been progressing in that direction and it isn't awkward.
True, not much character development on her part especially if you look at Megumin and Darkness who have come a long way. But in the end she is so funny it makes up for lack of development and all the clichés.

I am reading latest TL volumes, the Bomber Arc, yes? The relationships between Kazuma and Megumin is going well, I never stated it did not. Awkwardness is not a sign of a failing relationship, but there were awkward moments when romance is brought in their dialogue, but as you read, said awkwardness is used as comedic relief in the most Konosuba flow. I even approved of the relationship when I remarked about Kazuma probably being cursed, because every moment Kazuma gets on with Megumin; he gets cock-blocked. It was even speculated by the characters themselves in the volume. All I'm saying is the serious romance might shatter the light hearted atmosphere the novel has developed so far (for me).
Which would you prefer? A loli that shares your chunni A big breasted girl who let's you do what you want with her(even fantasizing about it) Or a girl who drinks all your liquor and waste all your money?
