    Since True Martial World, Martial World and The Great Ruler is having a slow release, I found 2 new novels.

    Great Demon King
    Heavenly Jewel Change

    I'm just asking 'cuz I haven't really saw a discussion regarding this two or maybe there are but I haven't seen them. Anyway, are these two novels good or not?

    Well that would depend on what you mean by good, HJC has quite the contrasting opinions in the reviews, some really like it, others really hate it. You will have to read it to find out which side you end up on.

    Slow release? Leecher much? MW and TMW release more than 1 a day for free.

    Both are fun i guess? For me at least but I prefer HJC over GDK.

    I tried reading HJC, couldn't get past 10 chapters. Guess it wasn't for me.

    As far as series goes it is slow. Martial World is a 2k+ novel series. Basic math tells you itll be years even if they keep up current pace of 2+ a day.
    TMW atleast has a good reason, since they caught up to the current translation. As a reader its hard to get 1/1000th of a novel a day.

    yes and yes.

    plus they're not slow to develop things like romance and the absurdities are few.

    Haven't read Great Demon King,
    Really like Heavenly Jewel Change, especially the start.
    I really like how he is quite a lecher and plays underhandedly most of the time, but when push comes to shove, shows great moral character.

    They are both good quality novels but they are both quite polarising so you need to try and see if you like them. I like most TJJS novels but it has similar issues to most his novels and GDK is quite mature with a quite sinister MC.

    I like Heavenly Jewel Change. It shows off TJSS's broad skills.

    I dropped GDK, probably for a good reason. I forgot.

    If you will like long live summon it will be the moderation of shamelessness of the mc there. Kinda comedy action adventure fun to read but it can get into your nerve sometimes and i like that both of them because they are responsible when it comes to what they have done. I can only describe because there are always 2 side of the coin it be good for me but not for you etc.

    You know the author releases 1~2 daily chapters right? The chinese readers are going through the same thing so I don't know what gives you the right to complain about MW's speed especially if you read for free.

    I thought 2 regular chapters per day of MW is quite fast and @hyorinmaru at most can do 7 chapters(so far) if he got sponsorship... while TMW caught up with author(can't blame @CKtalon_TMW) but still he do 2 chapter per day at least... TGR is irregular so can't do anything.. since most of the translator only release 3 chapter per week you know..

    These are people who haven't lived through the time period of Prince Revolution and Japanese TL speeds. 1 chapter a week then was amazing.

    Ren ruined it all with his monstrous speed.

    They're both good. It's all fun and games at first but as both stories progress it keeps getting better and more serious. I have a few complaints for both of the novels, just like with practically every novel since they're not perfect, but nothing that would stop me from reading.
    I don't think 'ruined' is appropriate, more like spoiled.

    Heavenly Jewel Change is great and I reccomend, just you will need some patience.

    The problem (and the reason a lot of people "hate it" and droped) is that the starting line is really low. Basically, until the point he get his Heavenly Jewel the novel looks like a boring Japanese Harem novel with lots of fanservice and "accidents".

    Well, it change and the novel gets really good after it

    HJC is a really good solid xianxia with cool cultivation methods and "powers" but it has a very big flaw that a lot of people can't accept. The MC is extremely morally corrupt in certain situations. There are many questionable decisions from the author like a rape scene in one of the earlier chapters (it doesn't happen again) but if you can ignore these types of things and CN morals then you have a very good solid novel imo and the MC is actually pretty intelligent and when he gets older it becomes more and more noticeable as he works towards helping his country.
