I'm a klutz, clumsiness runs deep into my bones. Anyways, I have the unfortunate habit of misplacing things every now and then. Not losing but just placing them somewhere hard to find somehow. A couple of things that has happened within the past 2 weeks. 2 days ago, I spent a good solid hour looking for my phone. I wasn't sure where I had placed it but I knew it was still in my room and near my bed since I just woke up. After a looking under and everywhere else, I had found that it had crawled into my pillowcase... Last week, I had to go quickly catch a train but couldn't find my keys at all. I had like 20 minutes left and eventually had to leave without it. Turns out my jacket somehow had a hole within it's pockets and my key fell through that tiny gap. Today I accidentally forgot my mask and had to walk halfway back from the store home and had to return halfway again since I forgot my wallet which I actually had placed in a corner of my bag. Orz That's why I'm usually super careful most of the time. Still I face some hiccups every now and then, sometimes more often than others. How about any of you? Any similar situations predicaments or situations occur recently?
I'm the one that hands things to people in the house....... It's a pretty hard job when your mom is a klutz too....
Lost my phone for a day, had to use the google 'where is my phone' , turns out it slid into the recliner chair. Or sometimes i put it in another pocket of my pants than i'm used to and i spend half an hour running around the house. p.s. kudos to your proper thread making skills.
I actually have very specific habits of where I put my stuff, so this very rarely happens to me. Because uhn... I lost lots of things as a child, so I made a habit of putting them always in the same place.
Yes, I am a klutz and forgetful, but I’m not as bad as Mr. Hamster. Living with someone who loses their phone for a year—he gave up after several months and bought a new one. I eventually found the old one—is an eye opening experience is how less klutzy and forgetful I am in comparison.
Well radiation from smartphones does affect your short term memories. And we who use smartphones for long durations for reading are prone to be affected by the radiation
When I was a kid, I remember running all over the school and outside trying to find my lost protractor and pencil case. Turned out to be in my pocket the whole time...
When I was really little I ran around for about an hour (real time) that felt like an eternity (kid time) trying to find my favorite stuffed animal. Finally after searching every place multiple times I asked my Mom if she knew where it was. My Mom gave me one of those looks for a moment, then silently pointed under my arm where I had been clutching my toy the whole time.
Same. I’m terrible at finding stuff, so it forced my lazy younger self to actually organise things in specific locations
