Are you a polite person? You can choose to give details/justify/explain why, like: why you are polite or why you aren't polite, in what situations and so on. Do you think that a person should be polite? What advantages do you think that there are, if there are any, for a polite person?
I'm polite but vindictive. I come from a litterate upper middle class, my grandmother was particularly bourgeoise. I learned all the codes of etiquette and i can dress a table with 10 silverwares. Basically politeness is just hypocrisy and etiquette. I know both.
I like to think I am. It just depends heavily on the person I'm interacting with. But deep down I like to believe I'm just a guy who's got a heart of gold
By being polite it is easier to meet people, be considered charming/well liked, and diffuse most troubling/annoying situations.
I was polite towards my clients and or rich people that has possibility as clients or elderly people. As hypocrite as it sounds to, being polite could help you lot in any chance.
I'm an impulsive person, if someone anger me I have no problem to swear at them (even if I don't know the person), but that bring lot of problem (though I come from a bourgeoise family so I know basic etiquette and blabla, if you do not anger me I will be polite)
Polite with everyone, until that person gives me a reason to not be, then not only I will not be a polite person but will too be aggressive. I'm a little rancorous, especially if you are not my friend or family =P.
I don't speak a lot IRL so I don't know really. But I usually don't say outloud what I think of people, if I dislike him/her I'll just go away. So I suppose it's a form of politeness?
Strangers mention that i am very impolite as I say something like "Hey Bitch", however that's just you greet someone normally in the military. Sometime your kindness can be insulting to others, what i learn from traveling and learning different cultures.
