    Imagine that 10k in cold hard cash appears out of thin air in front of your bed tomorrow. In a theoretical scenario in which you have no debts to speak of, what would you do with that money?

    A) Capitalism baby! > You will buy tons of things you always wanted.

    B) Vacations! > Take a nice vacation in places you never could dream of before.

    C) Materialism shall not tempt me! > Donate it to good causes.

    D) Save it. That down payment ain't gonna pay for itself!

    I am debt free. foreigner can't go into minus in China anyways. lol.

    and 10k usd? pay for wedding I guess. that stuff ain't cheap no matter how you look at it.

    wishful thinking honestly. it can recoup at most 60% of just the food cost. unless someone decides to be really giving. hahaha

    Depends on the currency really, if it's usd euros, then I am definitely going to find a relative or friend who is rich and has recently gone to the respective country, have them convert it to local one over time, and then hide the cash, and use it slowly.
    If it's 10k in my local currency, then meh! Doesn't really make much difference. If it in one of those low value currency like yen etc, compared to my local one, might as well just donate it, not worth the trouble of conversion.

    I’ve never had an allowance so whenever I get money for my birthday, I fucking hoard it. Like, I’m hella stingy as fuck. That kinda thing just stuck with me
