Ugh I thought I had a brain-fart for a moment there, because of the new site "change". Was wondering if I suddenly turned dumb because of the site theme/background
Well I read up to 125, the mtl goes to 137. but I just stopped. really, it's almost the same like reading invisible dragon (actually a bit worse)
Btw really, what happen to kokuma... last time she didn't even mention anything... or am I mistaken... as far I know she's still with her baby.
...Why is it that every second Novel gets ruined by women? ...Why is it that someone who is able to kill an Wyvern to not tell his mother and sister to shut up?
I did not know that respect your elders = lie your ass off to them all the time. In my opinion, the MC is just the type of guy that lets women walk all over him. He is literally letting the women in the room talk for him while just standing to the side without standing up for himself at all.
Telling them to shut up and lying about Arena are two different things. He isn't lying just because he wants to, but because he doesn't want to involve them further because he's still weak in comparison to the real bigshots in the Arena world. While many countries have people in the Arena, their government spends effort to keep it out of public's eye. If his relatives, who are people of mid class and are 'non-players' get to know about Arena, who knows what the Korean government will do to them especially when Hyun-Ho was recently forsaken by them.
That idiot still has too few skills... Even now that he has 1400 points left I can already see that he will not try to create new skills through synthetisise...
They aren't walking over him, he simply has no choice as long as he decides to retain his lie. Now why he chooses to retain said lie is a different story. No, he is lying cause he wants to. I don't think the government cares as long as it isn't public knowledge. Let us be honest here, probably 1/2 people who became involved in Arena ended up telling a relative. If governments killed relatives of the people they are trying to recruit... well you can imagine. What they care about is that it doesn't become completely public knowledge, a few friends and family knowing isn't a big deal as long as they can keep their mouth shut about it publicly. Not to mention, that chairman he saved, he has quite the pull with the Korean government. (Which is another example of rich people who are not examinees knowing about it) What I am most surprised about at this point is that he hasn't looked at a printout of all available skills and most common items. He can easily get his hands on those and yet he doesn't. He just waits for someone to conveniently tell him such things exist.
Jup, that annoys me a lot too. But I believe it was said at the beginning that there are thousands of skills and even more items. It´s not that he does lie to them or that he does not tell them about Arena. Why should he? It´s about that he gets always annoyed by the women in his life. Why not just say: "Shut up you old hag! She is just a fucking work collegue! And even if not, I fuck who I want." (not considering cutural bullshit) Their behaviour is just too annoying...
He also spent a massive amount of money buying karma. Edit: Reread to see the amount, it was 100 million USD he spent on karma.
From ch-128 on, the translator keeps using the phrase "deport harbor": Since the deport harbor’s consular... Having come back into the Deport harbor,... “What if that someone became the ultimate leader of the Deport harbor?” The deport harbor’s army... ...no matter when the Deport harbor is attacked from pirates,... He was the only commander in the Deport harbor... ...more than any other place, this Deport harbor has the deepest connection to it. etc. Checking a couple of dictionaries, they agree that the word "deport" is only used as a verb. Should it be "seaport" instead? Or did I miss that "Deport" is the name of this town/city.
i thought the MC would have gotten a third summon with this super high level of summoning, maybe an earth or lightning based one.
