Yeah, I get the feeling he will. But that'll be a long-term goal, since the Flame of Life skill will probably(?) have to be maxed out before it has the power to revive the dead. In the meantime, it seems he'll try to seek out and make an alliance with other teams in the Arena who are taking their exams at the same time as him. All coordinated by his new rich backer.
With his spirits and potential super healing ability in a few levels it will be very beneficial for the other team as well. I like this potential solution to his survival. Alternatively it is speculated difficulty is set by team strength and he can scrape by himself.
Will be interesting too see how he portrays the Nordic group when meeting them. Always interesting how somebody from the other side of the world thinks of something with all the stereotypes going into things.
I always love reading reactions His little sister respond and behaviour is what I like when reading novels But it seems the MC is gonna strangle her if this keeps on
I don't think his skill will be able to revive anyone as it looks like it can only heal/enhance still living bodies. And even if it can after getting max level the bodies of his mates are already cremated. It's more likely that by passing the final exam he'll get the option of reviving the participants. I must say the latest chapter was somewhat disappointing. I get why the relationship with min jeong is rushed but it somehow spoils the mood. She doesn't come across as foxy or alluring girl but just as ordinary harlot. :-/ Makes me loose interest in her and their relationship.
Makes sense but who knows Maybe it had this function if it got maxed And more likely, he will make another skill to revive them And you are right Their relationship was rushed but at least he did mention it was not love or anything Just a girl on the side since he doesn't know if he is gonna live or die
Min-Jeong has been such a generic character this far >_> but I guess it makes the whole thing more realistic. Do you think he will 'accidently' encounter an examinee whilst shopping? If not, why bother writing a chapter about that.
I think thats the point, she comes across as shallow and loose which represents the MC current fear of death. He's not in a position to take time to woo a proper girl or to get married.
Shallow and loose, yeah. But she's self aware to notice that and indulges in self mockery and irony from time to time. What I mean is it feels like she could be more than just that. I don't know if the author wants to build up her character slowly or if she's only , as you pointed out, just intended as a reflection of the mc's inner troubles.
Since nobody replied. Yes it is a male lead. The current chapter with the meeting occurring feels like it is going too smoothly. Helping him seems fine but the motivation for doing so should be explored a bit more since it feels like plot armour instead of mutually beneficial. The lord hasn't been bothered by the werewolves at all so striking out with an army to remove a threat seems illogical. His reasoning of caring about the people of the Lordship next to his could perhaps be expanded upon.
Doesn't feel like plot armor to me, the chairman propably knew about odin's background and thus contacted him. Nothing better than a bodyguard who actually needs you alive. He was just too quick to talk about personal matters, didn't fit the characters picture imo.
Damn, this is the first korean novel that I felt was like those standard japanese novels. I have read only till before the 3rd turn begins, so I might be wrong but till that I felt this was similar to the japanese novels: Being weak to girls, doing as the girls say, the repeated stuff about sylph being cute, no badassness etc. Does it get better later on or is it the same?
So Leon the werewolf is gonna attack the elf village huh? Much is expected, he is like a bandit, enslaving and mutilating the humans and now planning to get his hands on elves... then again humans are also aiming for the elves...
