Yue is smart, sarcastic, bit sadistic, ruthless and funny. Bit of a tsundere, and she’s a vampire. She is not two dimensional.

 

So glad they glossed over the incredibly boring parts where they get summoned and such, Was hoping that they would otherwise it'd be 2 episodes before he fell.

Animation is kinda weird for me, Hajime's VA doesn't really fit but that could just be me.

From comments i've been reading round the web, a hell of a lot of people (mainly novel and manga readers) judge that this has turned out so shit that you wonder how it's actually supposed to advertise the novels.

The big irony is this is that the long delay from announcement was because the first production team botched things so badly the first time that the author had to put his foot down and replace the crew. Unfortunately, that hasnt worked out particularly well considering all this.

I think, overall, it would have been better to take this to another studio in the first place.

 

Went into the first episode with about as little expectations as possible due to my experience with the novel a year back, and I'm still disappointed. I'm all about cool moves and such, but the edge was real, real enough to cut me figuratively. I'm pretty sure I also heard a little sound that was my reason curl up and die.

I'm sure that there'll be people that enjoy it regardless, and that's fair too, but personally, I would rate the first episode a huge nope/nope. Another piece of my time that I'll never get back.

Ep 2 was great! Looks like they plan to tell backstories via flashbacks...I like!

Doubtful. We should see the first encounter, and I am SO looking forward to Hajime opening up with 30mm autocannon on the monster wave, but I don’t think we’ll see the second encounter with Kaori and Imbecile(Hero).

We see Tio in the OP, but not Miyuu. We need Miyuu fluffiness!

 

I don’t think that episode will be nimated either. If anything, it will just go to that battle in the cave and and discovering that villa.

 

If they were smart they’d do it. That scene with the Magnificent Four is EPIC!!

 

I don't know about you but I enjoyed the stick pathetic quality anime of Saiki Kusou just fine
