Hi! I have created this thread to invite art enthusiasts to discuss various art supplies and how they intend to use them.
Let's share our unique experiences with each other!
I'll especially invite @Loverofanimeandmanga and @Nyan sempai to join with us, for their enthusiasm about art supplies inspired me to create this thread.

I have a thing for watercolour... but it takes to much time. So just pen and pencil for the time. Make up pens make interesting results too. As in the following: 20180905_145408-min-compressed.jpg

The brush pens. Really cool, really fun and I sucked at 2d so I didn’t get them. I played with clay and glass instead

Thank your for creating this thread.
Haha, personally I have two dimensions for my "art", one is for traditional theoretical art, which I am learning, and also have given examinations equilvalent to "graduation" degree. There is where I use wet, or expensive, time consuming stuff like watercolor, oil pastels, charcoal, wood, etc... it's not the dimension where I can make my beloved fanarts.
But the other "dimension" is of my doodles. Which I do almost all day. I want colors which are basic, easy to use colors, like pencil, gel pens, calligraphy pens, brush pens, sketch pens, simple plastic crayons, rookie level color pencils etc, which don't take much space, time or hassle... But what I discovered,if I go ahead and buy all the stuff I could for my doodles,it cost me even more than the former... So, I am left with no option but to use these rookie level stuff to make art I want to with true desire.
    I will be soon getting myself a drawing tab,so that's a relief...

Yes, creating fanarts belong to a different dimension. But you can pretty well use water colour for beautiful fanarts.
    I'll give you a suggestion.
Use HB pencils to create your doodles. Then use a glass marker pen/fine liner to border the image. It will create a bold effect.
