So I'm currently at chapter 721 of MGA, but that was like two years ago, haven't touched it since. I just tried simply picking it up and continuing but I realized I became Jon Snow, have absolutely noooooo idea who the characters mentioned are at all. Can't even recognise the main character ... T.T

Anyone have any recommendation for which arc / point / chapter to start rereading to get a good idea of what's going on?

Ha, I actually recommend that everyone read MGA, that way later on if you think you've found a garbage novel then at least you'll have something to compare it to

Do you tend to forget any novel/book/story/film/whatever after some time?
If yes, just start again from chapter 1 and enjoy the 'new' story ...

Just read at that chapter, if you get confused, you could check it out at the MGA wiki (careful of spoiler).

Though I don't recommend you to read it again after the eastern sea region arc

700+ that's the part where his 2nd girl got drugged. But I think about 550 chapters is the start of the arc where he decided to go in another continent called Eastern Sea Region for the first time and to find clues about his parents and rescue his purple head girl that has been sold by her parents to a marriage where there's a hidden motive in the other party.

Reading MGA huh? My best is about 100 chapters a day. If you can read 100 MGA chapters a day, even if you reread the whole thing you'll be back to the place in about 7 days, so just skim through from the beginning of Eastern sea arc. It will probably take a day at best before your memory refreshes.

Instead of wasting time rereading, why don't you start reading where u stopped and just ask people about whichever character you don't know about and people will help you remember them. I'm telling this because this novel is not worth rereading and it's not necessary in this novel to remember so much about characters because they are fleeting in their presence.

just think like this, goes to new area gets bullied by random young trash masters because some girl with no brains speaks to him runs away gets stronger comes back for revenge and kills bully then gets chased by his family rinse and repeat and you nailed the story so far. P.S don't worry about the names of some char's as they aint worth remembering most of the time

Well i agree with T hose who say it aint worth rereading.
If i were to s top Reading mga i would drop it.
Anyway if you want to reread it as Ananya Said 100 ch per da y would do it.
Totally doable with some fastreading since There aint much to think in the contents, and you only need to remember. if you skip something no worries the next ch might still be talking about the same nonsense...
Well its tiresome to click next ch 780 Times too xD it all will depend on how much you like it

I would really just say if you want to grasp the story again, it's best to just reread it from the beginning and skip the sections you do remember.

This is something that I very much wish would happen to me... unfortunately life's harsh

Also if you don't remember any of thing that happened before it's best to just start reading it's newer arc or rereading the entire arc that you were onto...
