Am I missing something? I have seen authors promote their story, breaking the fourth wall so to speak but to repeatedly say it is crap, is new.
Novel : Soul of Searing Steel
Author repeatedly brings up an interesting plot direction to move the story forward and build the world but protagonist says I am stupid, I will stay where I am like a turtle.....

Sounds like a bipolar story. If the characters every so often break the fourth wall.

Haha I call that...… 12 yo fanfiction. Seriously. That isn't new at all if you often read fanfic. It's to make them sound humble and likeable, not.

World building is difficult especially for Amateur authors so I opt for transported into gaming world novels but when the protagonist refuses to explore the world or solve economical problems when he is a Lord of a territory then it is just a waste of space

Can be genuine lack of confidence? I have to really work to stop myself telling someone "it's not great" when I give them one of my stories to read. The thinking is that if you lower your readers' expectations ahead of time, they won't judge you harshly... Basically, "please go easy on me".
In reality, it makes a reader go in thinking your work is trash already. Complete self-sabotage.

As for making your protagonist reject routes... Maybe they're trying to get one step ahead of readers who will flood their inbox with, "Why didn't the character do X, Y or Z!? It doesn't make sense!"
Again, though, it's a bad idea.

Yeah it is a waste. I am not looking for quality but at least quantity like in god of money. Instead of one good business plot, he took over every business haha.

    I know....uniquely bad

I like that kind of story too, but the point of self-deprication is appearently humor
This is from wikipedia (Many authors love that kind of humor as it seems)

I'm going to agree with everyone saying that this is self-deprecation. It's not really a matter of lack of confidence but more of knowing how well their own writing stacks up with the people they like to read. Even accomplished writers like Huang Yi was known to comment about how he created the xianxia and xuanhuan genres because his editor outright told him that he wasn't as good as the famous wuxia writers Jin Yong, Gu Long, and Liang Yusheng. This self-deprecation also goes well with the Chinese saying "there is no best among writers; there is no second among warriors".

Self-deprecation is one of the best types of comedy, and the comedians themselves also didn't have to worry about the backlash they might have.

The story is not a comedy though.
It is so hard to find a territory management story(economics based story) to read

These are just author's comments, and author's comments aren't actually part of the story. If you read multiple stories from a particular writer, then you'll find that the comments in these books will be fairly similar even if the stories have completely different tones from each other.

I am not referring to author's comments but how the protagonist behaves.
I am assuming that the author is speaking to the reader through the protagonist
