According to the manhwa, he’s out of stamina, so auto-hunting would do no good. It acts like an autopilot and booster, but if he’s out of gas, there’s nothing to boost, and autopilot won’t help.
If we remember properly, auto hunting creates the most efficient route to accomplish a task. Hence how all his muscles are well trained, because it optimizes his training. Thus, auto hunting was probably aware that the competition was about to end, and the most efficient way with his limited stamina was to simply hold out. Overall though, I think this test was pretty stupid. Because if an experience hunter meets a more experienced hunter, they would lose and get less points but that doesn't mean they wouldn't qualify. Not to mention there are strategies you can utilize that are useless for hunting intelligent monsters, such as waiting for 2 opponents to weaken each other than attack them. While that might be a good experience for the people who are weakened, it doesn't help that some people can get points through such methods. There is also option of forming teams and steamroll. Especially those from the same group.
Permit me to disagree. Training the newbies in tactics involving patience, or teamwork is good for hunting monsters. Overall, I have to assess the test as very good indeed.
I know that it is horrible. They just rewrite it and then record it. It probably takes them like 5 minutes to translate it and then record it if they have the program.
