Zelda fans (for life) gather here oh god i'm really looking forward to Nintendo's new console and Zelda Breath of the Wild >w< that map is supposed to be 12 times larger than that of Twilight Princess and it's open world and you can climb and pick up food and glide O_______O .... *awesomeness overflow, brain failed progressing* also, Ubisoft recently complimented the NX, that it's innovative and great and now i'm looking forward to it even more!! What are you looking forward to in that game? And will you buy the NX/ Zelda BotW? (well it's kinda unsure cause the NX hasn't even been introduced ... why is Nintendo torturing my emotions that way? T.T) anyway haha what do you think? :3
I am thinking if the map is 12 times larger than Twilight Princess and it is an open world, we might have some Wind Wakerish traveling on our hands. Hopefully there will be a convenient quick travel mechanic with good warp points.
Nintendo Nx looks to a hybrid console, which will be portable and can also be connected to T.V. @Ratatoskr
should be a mix of handheld and home console coming out next year edit: oh someone answered already xD and there isn't a picture out, Nintendo hasn't really made any official announcements yet
That is the problem its just a rumor at this point, but the fact that it is a hybrid has being confirmed by many developers. Nintendo is not talking.
Need more info on NX but i miss the zelda series haven't played since twilight princess so i'm greatly intrested in BOTW
the Sheika Slate (kinda modern technology, first for Zelda) even has other cool functions like marking things you see on the map and it works as a magnet
Clearly getting the NX. Smash Bros, whatever Mario game is next, Zelda, and if Nintendo listens to my letters a new Extreme-G and/or Gundam game.
Damn, so the only game that I actually bought the Wii U for was Xenoblade! ...Speaking of, I should probably finish that.
me too, i'm also getting it for sure Nintendo's exclusive games are so great >w< lol i bought it for Wind Waker and Twilight Princess ... haven't finished both ^^'
But shouldn't you just explore the world aimlessly for hours on end like in the original Zelda? I played Wind Waker as it was my first Zelda game, and I think that I stopped at the Earth Temple. ...Gah, if only it wasn't so noisy near my console! Oh, and Twilight Princess was great! Except for the part where my Wii broke before the final boss fight and so I couldn't finish the game....
you tell such sad stories T.T i once forgot that the system would automatically go on standbye mode after an hour and just left it there with me being inside a temple right before the final boss ... had to play the whole temple again p.q
that will surely happen in the beginning, jumping off the plateau and then aimlessly running around, hopefully with a wolf :3
I would argue that the original Zelda's map wasn't all that big. Also a lot of the Wind Waker islands were pointless filler with all the good stuff in the submarines, secret giant squid monsters, and fairy islands.
My Wii shut down so often while I was laying Xenoblade and grinding for free money. Though, even if you say you had to replay the whole temple, I'm having to replay all of Twilight Princess as I'm too lazy to move the data over. ...Wait, that would require less effort! No, give me back my Wii! For some reason, I can only picture Link jumping off of a cliff and getting dragged away by a wolf. I'm really trying to picture something else like Link jumping onto a wolf's back, or something similar to him transforming in midair, but I can only picture corpses! Damn you video game logic! Why have you left my mind!
