I am searching for a novel that has a character (preferably a girl) who could reply awesome comebacks to enemies and stuffs and she has a sense of humor too.... I like it to have no romance as much as possible but every female protagonist there will always be romance so if it does have romance just warn me beforehand so I could prepare myself before reading then dropping it if the male lead shows up. Reborn as My Love Rival’s Wife has the best and funniest female MC that I've ever read (even though she was actually a man who got turned into a woman) and she fits all your criteria other it being a FULL ON romance novel. This basically starts off with the two characters meeting so you can't drop it when it happens lol, it actually starts off with them being already married... But...just thought I should throw it out there because the MC is basically what you're asking for. She used to be a man so all the love rivals she meets...well, her reaction is kinda funny and cute cause she instead starts swooning over all the pretty girls rather than thinking of them as rivals, and kinda ruins all their plans that way. I imagined you would've liked that. But this story is a full fledged romance story, so much so that it's actually my most favorite romance story of all time. The only novel which I put myself through the trouble to read the raws using google translate because I wanted to finish it so bad...don't regret a thing.

It's hard to find a non-romance female MC from translated novel. I suggest you give it a try Lucy Wickshire in webnovel (QI website). The grammar is not the best, but the girl is badass in a nonviolent way. She's smart and mysterious and no hint of her having to depend on male lead so far as she has a very powerful organization in her hand. Not much sense of humour though.
