    Wait for the technology to be improved, even if it could travel and not require a base for it to be above like most mag-lev systems, it couldnt handle changes in terrain, even a slight bump would cause it to dig into the ground. We will get a proper hoverboard eventually....I believe in the mcflys..it will happen.

    Taking care of bumps is not the real problem me thinks...That technology has already been developed but not yet implemented in this field...

    Okay 2 things I can think of right now are a virtual reality headset and something I've always wanted which is a powerful telescopes for stargazing

    true, telescopes would be fun. i remember when i researched them, and there was the newton and something else type, which made a huge difference in the product
